Congress destroyed the state in last 65 years...

Root cause...

Is it not our foolishness that we chose Congress nth time knowing well that it follows the policy of appeasent? Why? Why did we elect it again? The theory of appeasement is more than 30 years old. Who is to blame? Minority which would be interested in leveraging every oppoetunity to their good or theb majority who have frittered all their power by dividing themselves along caste and regional lines? No fool will support Bodos as long as the wider Hindu community remains divided as in such a scenario the minority votes becoame decisive. Politicians value minority votes because they are dependable and united. This is amply proved by U.P. election results. BSP lost because the so called forward castes went along the SP. However, SP could not have won with the support of caste Hindus only. SP won a big majority with support from minorities. If this minority moves to Congress than they will win a landslide victory in next elections. The minorities understand it well and are switching from one party to another and (except BJP) to draw maximum returns (in terms of concessions, facilities, freebies)at the cost of majority. Their willingness to move from one party to another has given rise to competitive minoritysm among the major political parties of the day. Assam problem is a consequence of this competitive minoriticism which promotes illegal Bangladeshi infiltration. This can be tackled only through unity among majority community across cates and regions.

20crore Mus1im citizens are Indians in every aspect like the majority community. Nobody recommends their disenfranchisement or ethnic cleansing. They have all the rights, privileges and freedom that any other Indian citizen has. Do they also not have the same responsibilities like any other Indian? Do they not have to obey the laws of the country?

Why are some peoples' hearts bleeding for the illegal immigrants from Bangladesh? Just because they are part of the mythical global ummah?

The issue is not about being pro-Mus1im or pro-Xtian or pro-Dalit. A country's rights, privileges and security first belongs to its OWN citizens and not illegal immigrants! In any sane social setup, there should be some safeguards for the religious minorities & under-privileged sections. One can live with that.

But for many, this pro-minority ism and SECULARISM has come to mean blatant anti-H1ndu posturing!

That is what rankles!

Because genuine Indians are harrassed by calling them immigrants. People who have settled in 1905 or 1935 cannot be called immigrants. You can also check Census data that confirms that population increase is absolutely normal in these areas.

Rangan-You are glossing over the issue of illegal immigration. Assam's demography has been changed by the infux of Bangladeshis whom the local politicians have used as a pliant votebank. They have usurped & encroached on land & property both private as well as government land & forest land. The Bodos and other tribals definitely feel threatened by this influx of people and their own brands of culture & religion.

When rabid Is1amists like Ajmal fan the flames of communal hatred, the lunatic right wing fringe also get an excuse to fan violence.

If a strong government has the guts to put people like Ajmal behind bars, it will also have the MORAL AUTHORITY to take action against those who target the minorities too!

Unfortunately, the Assam & Central government are run by certified pseudo seculars who use the minorities as a religious votebank. Badruddin Ajmal is reportedly very close to Sonia Gandhi's political secretary Ahmed Patel and Congress General Secretary and Assam Observer Digvijaya Singh. He has unfettered access to those in power. Even after being named by Union Joint Home Secretary (North-East) Shambhu Singh that Ajmal, who is a Lok Sabha MP from Dhubri, was behind the violence, nobody dares to touch him!

We can see the effects of all that.

Global Phenomenal Forces of Assam

This state has separated from national politics by the dynasty policy of congress party. Now neighbours are entering into India just like Bombay intruders like Ajmal Kasab but home minister is living in utopia. Largest exodus seems like a movie for him. Sonia an Italian origin.

By the way Assam has become part of India only from British times. Never before Assam was ruled from Delhi.

Cancer of Illegal Infiltration
by RamRahim on Aug 28, 2012 10:45 AM

The illegal infiltration from Bangladesh to India is proving to a real cancer and is spreading to every nook and corner of the country as proved by events in Mumbai and Lucknow. The usual pattern is that they first try to settle in Assam and then move to other parts of the country unchecked and uncontrolled. That, migrants are moving up to Hyderabad and Kerala down south proves this point. There is no mechanism or institutional set up to identify and deport illegal migrants at National Level. That anybody can move anywhere in India proves that there is no care taker. The most worrisome feature of this phenomenon is that these infiltrators get immediate support, guidance and shelter from their local brethren in all parts of the country. The rate of infiltration has gone up in the past due to high economic growth achieved by India providing ample job opportunities for these people and support from their local well-wishers and politicians. In fact, India is sitting on a live Islamic bomb which may go off any time. That our government is not giving any thought to the real problem proves that they are interested just in quelling the violence (a symptom) by imposing curfew, calling army and setting up relief camps and not interested in solving the problem which is fast gaining pan-India proportions. Its time that people of India wake and took the problem seriously otherwise the whole country will end up in violence and anarchy.
