assam and other similar situations
by raman govindan on Aug 10, 2012 08:54 AM

to get few more mla and mp seats, the political parties adopt technique that will lead to insecurity of our nation and may lead to second break up like as in 1947! to hold power immediately in the immediate future and enrich their pocket, is their concern and not the long term security or propsperity of the nation!

Congress converting India to a muslim country shamelessly without ay spine bending backwards to all small countries like srilanka and b'desh.unless c'gress is ruined and strong acid poured to its roots so that it does not come again is the only solution to this Hindu mother land

Assam Phase II
by Sachin Purohit on Aug 10, 2012 07:56 AM  | Hide replies

Phase I was about quietly settling illegal immigrants in assam. Phase II is about showing these immigrants to be at the receiving end of violence. Phase III will be a few years down the line when the original inhabitants become a minority and then would be living in refugee camps in a distant state while the illegal immigrants will talk about "Assamiyat" the way the secessionists in Kashmir talk about Kashmiriyat and then ask for a separate nationhood for Assam. A more than happy Congress will extend article 370 to Assam and will disallow non-Assamese (which by then would mean anyone other than illegal immigrants) from buying land in Assam.

A country of refugees
by P Dutta on Aug 10, 2012 07:12 AM  | Hide replies

The congress party is slowly but steadily converting this country into a country refugees where its own countrymen live in refugee camps in large numbers. This party has neither taken any sincere and serious steps to rehabilitate Kashmiri Pundits nor they will do anything for the four lakh Bodo refugees who are their own creation. How long this country is destined to carry the burden of vote bank politics inflicted by the Congress party for over six decades? Now some more vocal champions of secularism have joined the bandwagon with their essentially castist affiliations like Mulayam, Laloo, Nitish etc.

yes if the other parties could have a modern outlook that is inclusive and includes the aspirations, attitudes and goals of the young and energetic population definetely congress can become a history...actually there is no difference among these parties...so dont worry not much will change so soon...

ASSAM VIOLENCE OUR PM's comment
by kk rangan on Aug 10, 2012 07:01 AM

Our PM manmohan can't stand an election in his home state of Punjab. Why he chose Assam for getting elected to the upper house. For the sake of post he tells that he is permanent resident of Assam. Who is he trying to fool? Likewise who is he trying to fool when he says the violence is a blot on the nation. Your Govt, Mr. Manmohan is the only blot. If you give way to patriotic indians they would deal with these kind situations to the utmost benefit for indigenous, HIndus and Local people. But you people work for Muslims, Minorities and Bangladeshis and Pakistanis.

Solution- Gandhian way
by Vishvaksenah E on Aug 10, 2012 06:02 AM  | Hide replies

We should all follow the principles laid down by our beloved Bapuji, father of present day India.
What would Bapuji do?
If beloved Bapuji, father of present day India was in our midst, what would he have done?

Love, Peace and non-violence.
With this wonderful ideology , he could drive away the mighty English colonial powers.

What did he do when the refugees from West Punjab, NWFP and other places came and occupied abandoned structures in New Delhi?
He wanted them to vacate it and die in the streets of Delhi during the cold winter months.

Whom did he console during the Noakhali riots?
The same group of persons must be consoled now also.

Minorities have the first right over all the natural resources- thus spake Hon.PM Manmohan Singh. This is exactly what beloved Bapuji , father of present day India taught us.

With this mindset, we should plan our actions regarding the Assam incident ...and everything will turn out to be hunky dorky....and hey presto, secularism will win.....and Bangladesh will have a new secular district

Well, if you did not get it? His comment was written sarcastically. It was a veiled criticism of the Gandhian approach. Read carefully.
