What did he do when the refugees from West Punjab, NWFP and other places came and occupied abandoned structures in New Delhi? He wanted them to vacate it and die in the streets of Delhi during the cold winter months.
Whom did he console during the Noakhali riots? The same group of persons must be consoled now also.
Minorities have the first right over all the natural resources- thus spake Hon.PM Manmohan Singh. This is exactly what beloved Bapuji , father of present day India taught us.
With this mindset, we should plan our actions regarding the Assam incident ...and everything will turn out to be hunky dorky....and hey presto, secularism will win.....and Bangladesh will have a new secular district

Let us go back in history. After the partition many indians settled in adjoining indian states of bangladesh. Thereafter Rajiv Gandhi signed an accord with Prafulla Mahanta, ex-CM of Assam that after 1971 any bangladeshi who entered Assam will be deported. Cong has not implemented this for vote bank politics. Apart from this all political parties r responsible to make NE States like Kashmir.

Other parties have limited presence in NE because of large scale demographic changes due to these illegal migrants. So it the Congress which has to be blamed solely for this fiasco.

The size of the community using the internet to access the actual ground situation in Assam is limited. Strangely the prominent newspapers and news channels are not making this national issue. All we see is Anna Hazera and team fighting against a corrupt congress for a lost cause.I also feel the BSF is equally responsible for this massive illigal immigration of Bangladeshis be it under political pressure or not.

problem has become complicated and beyond solution like division of Kashmir. it is all due to vote bank policy of certain political partie(s).
What is the proof that those people are from Bangladesh? He is saying as if they are carrying Bangladeshi identity cards. On the contrary they have ration cards and voter identity cards given by the state government. if they are really illegal immigrants why don't we deport them immediately? It is very easy to make statements without proof. If Indian government allowed the so called Bangladeshis remain on Indian land for their own benefit, why complain now? If they were allowed to stay at that time it was done by the then government which was elected by the people. In a democracy like India we must understand the meaning of pluralism and peoples' representation. We all share the consequence of our decisions. I go by logic and I believe these speeches may give him some Hindu votes, but will not be acceptable in the court of law.

We are a funny nation - the so called "majority" community is always at the receiving end.
