Indian political parties are known for hiring goons for organising protests, bandhs, arson etc.Rediff news is no news for us Indians as these type of protests are daily occurance. Size and intensity of such protests is in proportion to money paid out. So, Rediff, donot project such protests as breaking news and in headlines.

How sad that you have taken to the cview of Dr Rajwant Singh in this regard. Can't you see that innocents are killed and that guy was actually saying something which is not acceptable to any of us as a nation. I am not a sikh, but I am of Indian origin. If you still can't understand the politics behind this story, then shame on you mate. Try to read it like an Indian and you can feel the difference. Has any of these so called goons ever killed any american in the process of their protest. They were only tearing and burning cardboards and a piece of cloth containing American flag, how does that shame the American Sikh (Dr Rajwant Singh) being a Sikh in the first place?
