Well, if india hopes to infuse some fear or self dobut in the minds of Chinese,i doubt if India will be able to achieve that!!Its not a secret that China competes with the likes of USA and Europe!!! India can only create some sort of irritation to the Chinese, rather than a real concern. First of all,India must look with in!! The biggest threat to india is its own ppl. At any given time atleast 3 or 4 states wants to snap ties with india and go away as a separate county!

Indian leadership, despite having 1.2billion behaves with weak knees internationally and caves into pressure meekly, more like a banana republic than emerging power it wants to be. The test also underscore the point that power and influence grows out of prowess in science and technology R&D.

I suggest you go and read few times the gist of what I say. Given the degree of understanding and kneejerk reaction, you will need to spend 30min at least to understand what I wrote and more importantly its implication.
Again, no wehere directly or indirectly did I suggest that Indians should sit back. On the contrary, the sughestion was to spend more on R&D. FYI, that means increased GDP, which requires better management of the economy, more meritocracy and increased activity.
