Anything happening in Gujarat and that too against the Govt. there is hot news for the media, especially if it gives scope to take a dig at Modi. If any muslim is killed in any incidence, the whole media gangs up to paint a different picture as against anyone from majority community getting killed in a similar way. There have been many encounters in many places in India where people belonging to different communities have died; but only when a minority community member is killed, there is special attention as if such action is unpardonable. This is enigmatic.

Gujrat police were right....it foolishness to even waste time on this case of shooting bunch of terrorists.
gujrat has not seen such terror attacks due to such strong actions by police against terorists.

How can an entire IPS association go against a elected chief minister who is the pride of Gujarat? Some thing is clearly wrong in Gujarat. Unless Modi is given extra power,we will see more corrupt officers like bhatt accusing Modi

IPS will support criminals in their uniform just like congrazz is not accepting lokpal .
IPS do not like to be disciplined by govt....they like to enjoy misusing their power to beat up ppl and loot them without being questioned.....they love cangrazz and mayabathis as they are very supportive of their right to abuse and loot the aam admi.
Modi does not allow it so is disliked...by IPS crooks.
Hold on. Hold on. The encounter was fake but nowhere the SIT has said that they were not terrorists or not related to LeT. So that part is still controversial. Second, it is really hard to believe that police picked up these four people randomly and shot them and then claimed that they were terrorists. It is really absurd. There are millions of Muslims in India. Police doesn't pick anybody they like and kill them. The reason why these people were selected as targets needs to be found out. Third, this is not a verdict delivered by a court. This is the inquiry report submitted by SIT to the court and is open to scrutiny, arguments and counterarguments. So the case has a long way to go. Forth, this is not a setback to Modi Government as some media houses claim, because no one has successfully established the link between Modi Government and Ishrat encounter. It would be a setback if one can prove in court that Modi Government ordered this encounter. These media houses have tendency to jump the gun time whenever the news involves Modi without thinking rationally. There is really nothing significant in the news except that the encounter was fake which people knew all along and that is why D G Vanzara is in jail from long time. Now the SIT has given its inquiry report which basically is the opinion of the SIT. There are still many unanswered questions which need answers.

Neither did the report say they.were terrorists. SIT was formed to investigate the encounter, not their backgrounds.

SIT was not set up to give character certificate on whether they were or not terrorists....but the fact remains Police acted on intelligence from central inteligence...and LeT hailed Israt as their jeehadi martyr.

what right does police have to kill people on purported intelligence? Why weren't they arrested? Did they even try?
