We should help our own people before donating money to others. This money could have been better utilised in reviving Air India which is facing so much difficulty because of wrong decisions made by cabinet ministers.

Why stupid government does not give rupee money so they can buy Indian goods and service instead of giving foreign reserves? Is the government of looter so stupid that they always act against national interest.
Why he gives away our precious foreign reserves which we are running deficits for. Is it another scam with kickbacks?

In general, although the money is designated in U.S. dollars, it is given in the form of a credit that can be spent only in India.

100% wrong analysis...
China has already bought few lands in Africa. Thats a fact, but MMS is doing this, a incorrect fact. He is just trying to strengthen his position as an international economical bureaucrat. However, on ground, he does not know anything. Inflation is beyond control. International prices are more in stabilization mode, but in India, inflation is still uncontrolable.
China is growing at 12% with 4.1% inflation, while we are growing at 7.5-8.0% with an inflation of 10%. Our Govt says that inflation is because of high growth rate, then why China is growing at higher rate than us with lower inflation for years now...Can MMS explain this? NO, because is a pseudo-economist.
To counter China growing clout in Africa India should invest and help more in African countries.China is already giving aid to African countries in billions to tab rich mineral resources and gold mines rich Africa. India can't match China in investment and aid in Africa china trade worth $110 billion to Africa. And India is just strated investing in Africa still long way to go if compare to china.

Problem with government its only desire is to loot and so we can say these things must also be a scam, when foreign trade deficits are being run by the country.
What they should is give Rupee donations so they can buy Indian goods instead wasting foreign reserves on foreign countries.

I agree with your views. But first we should get our own house in order before we help others.
When SC ordered the government to give all the food grains to the Indian poor instead of letting it rot, the PM MMS did not agree. But now he is giving an aid of $180 million to Tanzania. What a joke ?????? Mr. MMS, first put your house in order before you help others.
The Indian govt has invested hugely in Afghanistan which will be wasteful if Talibban were to occupy power there, and what is the need for giving away 180 billion as Indian states are borrowing money from World Bank for drinking water projects
