Why tax payers money is be wasted on Tanzania? What do we have to do with Tanzania? Same aid should be diverted to Pakistan to help the country out of the mess. A strong responsible Pakistan is in the long term interests of India.

India gave the terrorist state of Pakistan 20 million dollars as AID after its floods last year. And it does give low amounts of aid elsewhere as well.
How can MMS can go to Africa, and offer 5 billion dollars in assistance, and 180 million dollars in aids to Tansania? India is a poor country overloaded with debt, terrorism and inflation. This unelected MMS should quit and leave India. India should at least focus on poor peole in India and create jobs. Let private sector take care of credit lines and business. Tatas, Ambanis, etc are already doing business in Africa, and MMS should take care of India. Can't India produce at leat one good leader with a decent IQ and patriotism?

India is just now waking up to playing in Africa. Although Indian enterprise has known African market for 200 years, only now the state apparatus is playing a role.
Govt. to Govt AID program is also an essential part of growing international business. So MMS is doing the right thing.
However, the AID program should be structured to benefit Indian business interests and diplomatic gains. We do not know if MMS has secured any of these with his AID program. If not, this whole thing will be funds down the drain.
When AID program helps businesses, it creates jobs. Helps grow Indian middle class and make a few more Crorepathis.
AID program also helps create global goodwill for India and specifically in Africa.
India is now Two Trillion Dollars economy. At least we should consider having 1% for AID programs which amounts to $20 Billion per year. Most of this AID should go to South Asia and significant amount should go to Africa. Then in 25 years we can expect India to have more soft power in these regions.

This PM and his govt. would rather let food rot but not give it to poor in this country.
You will take their sides as always, hatred is blind especially motivated by fanatic religious idology.
Typically when Western countries, China and Japan provide aid, 95% of that aid is awarded as contracts to their own companies. So, the money does not actually leave the donor country but credit is applied to the contracts.
Hope our fools are doing the same. Tanazania is a country that needs lots of Tata automobiles, cell phone services, food, textiles, tobacco, military training, roads and buildings. All these can be provided by Indian companies.
Hope the aid is structured so that either India gets significant footprint in Tanzania or Indian companies get 95% of the business generated through this aid program.

he thinks its his right to squander nations wealth , first by way of scams and then by giving AID to other countries while our pl starve and suffer high inflation poor infrastructure.

Exactly how should or can we stop the CWG/2G/Bofors/Nuclear scams that govt. does ??

Tanzania is mostly china pro. India is trying to break in to a market that has been held by Chinese from last 50 odd years. tata motors are not a place in Tanzania jaguar will not sell there nor will nano. Land rover is also use less there the work with mostly heavy built pickup vans there such as Chevrolet and doge. land rover is to low for the terrines. as for textile yes Indians have been manufacturing cloth in East Africa for nearly a century. Food they grow their own they are self sufficient, military training is obtained from Britain who was ruling Tanzania once and it is one of the best in Africa. Roads are 100 time better then those of India and China has the contract of building them including Railways. Buildings they are expert in building them. These are not the frontiers to be explored. What India needs to break into such operations as mining.refining steel manufacturing,Education Health etc. Indians do not have a very good reputation among Africans. aid provides by India is a loan repayable over the time. India income from Africa stands at 40 billion dollars where as Chinese income stands at 180 billion dollars. It is going to be very tough to break into a market which China dominates at present. I have lived in east Africa for 20 years and have seen it all.

What do you mean seen it all ?? reading your comments it seems like you have seen nothing and done nothing.
Indians do not have good reputation amongst Africans as you say because people like you lived there for 20 years and screwed up our reputation.
