There was maintenance going on when the Taliban entered. Perhaps this is a setup and maintenance meant that the engines etc of the aircraft were being carted away and only the outer frame of the aircraft was there and was left for the 'taliban' to target practice.
While one feel sadistic pleasure of what is happening in Pakistan... because they are getting with interest what they did to others , one cant help but sympathasie with ordinary citizens . They are wonderfull people trapped inside a nation which has no future and is on the brink of disaster.

Pakistan is a doomed country. In the end they will come back from whee they were trying to run away from, India. They have no choice. they're between a rock and hard place, due to their own bad policies, so they'll just fall back to pre-1947 status.

The nation is made up of people. Wonderful people make wonderful nation. Schizophrenic people make the nation schizophrenic.
USA will just give them more free planes, to the undeserving rogue Pakistan government. I'm sure US taxpayers will be very happy to freely give their hard-earned family wealth to theocratic nation that supports terror, jihad, fundamentalist sharia, alquada, uncivilised behavior. Heck why doesn't US just freely enslave their sons and daughters to pakistan?! pakistan small black hole swallowing entire superpowers. too sad and also too funny.
