Dear All,I also from construction industry,Builders and corporates influence police and local authorties very badly.They will do anything for their work tobe done.Being a democratic country we should restrict the govt officials for indulging bribes and other.For this we should blame our political leaders who are not having vision how to develop people and having vision of how to earn.If this will not ratifies we may screw by this dirty politicians.
They run our country by bending policies in thier favour from govt. by arm twisting them from media or money.... And every body knows political parties needs money to run into elections, corporates & builders use this weakness.

People like Medha patkar should start a movemebt against govt and builder lobby by forming an organization which should be funded by common man by donating even a smaller amount of Rs.100/- which should be used to meet daytoday expenses as well as court expenses to fight against these irregularities of Govt and politicians-cum-builders. I hope people will support such movement whole heartedly. Corrupt politicians would not buzz until they are pulled into courts.

Idiotic question! Someone who hasnt had food for 4 days, lives in a open shamiana all thru will look shabby. someone who watches this news from airconditioned living rooms or study will look clean. go to the place and understand the ground level issue and the the shabbiness will look.
This dumb lady wants to do away with the cut-off dates for rehabilitation of slum tenants. Does she have any idea how this will promote the mushrooming of more slums and the burden this will impose on the civic amenities of Mumbai? Sometimes one wonders if such social activists have even a basic grasp of the issues they are fighting for.

Syedbhai have u cared to ask ur corrupt corporators, municipal employees why these slums come to occupy public land, footpaths etc first? Did u ask ur corporator and ward officer why they sold the footpath to these hawkers and stall fellows? U dont question them and u have the temerity to question poor people who just want to earn a daily living for their families?

Do gather some knowledge before commenting. ALL the slums that are developed under the SRA scheme have to form registered societies first, as was done in this case as well.
All these northie builders are looting Marathi people, taking away their lands in the name of development. Mah is on the way to becoming another northie state with massive influx of population from north and the economy controlled by north indians. Only people from Mah like Hazare, Patkar and others can fight these thugs and looters.

Deshmukh may be only a fall guy. He may have been acting on orders of the north indian high command. Ditto for Pawar. Dawood is not marathi manus.
