India may not be able to prevent future Mumbai like terror strikes but should warn Pak of consequences in case its proved by indian agency that Pak was involved and should be ready to be punished. India should be prepared to ratliate with strikes deep inside POK and pak...we need our anti missile stuff in action by then so that all nuclear targets in pak can be distoyed in one go.In this process china will start dancing so india should make it clear that any one who supports pak is same as supporting terrorists so stay away.

.. that the people get the govt they deserve in a democracy. so, why does india not get one that it deserves? we all know well how hard we all work in a day, right?
USA should not and will not help India against Pakist@n and LeT and ISI will do what they have been doing against India... India deserves everything that it gets from LeT. The only problem is apart from civilians if LeT could eliminate a few politicos including entire G@ndh1 cl@n. that wud have been great..
US must not intervene if LeT attacks India.. Infact, it's very important that LeT attacks India in a very big way so that India's corrupt and dishonest administration and beareaucracy are shaken up and they realize the importance of being honest, disciplined and efficient.
US interference in Indo-Pak affairs has always been in favour of Pakistan. Take 26/11 for instance. Following 26/11, US intervention is supposed to have prevented a war between India and Pakistan. Their Prez. claims as much. A war between the two countries would not have been in the interest of either of them. Very true. But the bottom line is that Pakistan, ISI and the perpetrators of 26/11 got away with their misdeeds thanks to the US interference which favoured them. Now the question that arises is that should a country, that has no control over its terrorists and indeed claims to be the prime target of their activities, be allowed to develop and possess nuclear weapons? What steps if any have been taken either to strip Pak of its nuclear arsenal or to ensure that the weapons do not fall into wrong hands. The myriad terrorist organizations, operating from Pak soil, have always provided an alibi to the anti India activities of Pak govt and the ISI. God forbid, if LeT or one of the several other terrorist outfits operating from Pak, were to fire nukes at India, what will be the response of US govt. Will they still intervene in favour of Pak and allow them to get away with nuke attacks on India? It's a million dollar questions that needs to be answered fast.
The present goverment and each every government authorities coffer is filled with loot of public money. So all the will prefer to just sit and enjoy and keep looking for more opportunity vide scams for more loot. Neither the govt or the opposition will go on for war with any country, while pakistan officials too on other hand are getting their coffers filled by emptying USA safes so now US to make money may by selling arms may look for any opportunity in regard to terror outfits.
India is a large economic power, intellectually and geographically and above all a Westminister democracy. We just need to get into a defence pact with the US for local protection like Japan & EU, essentially outsource our military requirements to them and focus on developing ourselves and our country, materially & spiritually. I am not advocating we cease to have an armed forces, far from it. All I'm saying is that we get an assurance, that if Pakistan or anyone else attacks us, the US will deal with them. We can pay the US in terms of Defence Deals, Market access etc. etc.
