Auto Fares in chennai ?
by JAGANATH S on May 15, 2011 02:34 PM

I have a suggestion to bring down the auto menace in T N.
It is high time the govt starts its own auto wing with about 10000 properly metered autos for chennai with a lease basis for honest liscence holders. the fares should be what is in Mumbai and the culture should be also the same if not better. This provide employment to 10000 drivers and will create a strong competition with other autos in chennai who refuse to accept any kind of a normal operatons.

This may cost the goverment around 100 crores for the time being , which will be recovered in no time but will surely put the entire network into a pucca system since public will totally reject the current auto network , hope this reaches the right mind, authorities and govt, in particular Madam J J- thank you

Well said. That is what the Tamil Nadu people want. They have thought that they can abolish corruption by bringing in Jayalalitha, the queen of corruption back to power. In the coming days, the poor people of Tamil Nadu will realize their folly when they see their PDS system going to nowhere and the Chennaites experiencing the infrastructure development going from bad to worse.

Karunanidhi is responsible
by Bitsavan on May 15, 2011 02:27 PM  | Hide replies

The day she is sworn in will be sad day for Tamil Nadu. If anybody is responsible for the elevation of Jayalalitha once again to the CMs chair, it is Karunanidhi who by his excesses and nepotism brought about this unfortunate development. Despite many achievements to his credit, Karunanidhi badly lost the elections. The false propoganda of Jaya worked once again. She portrayed as though Tamil Nadu is the only State in the country having frequent power cuts and price rise. The gullible masses of Tamil Nadu believed her not knowing in neighbouring Karnataka, power cuts are more severe than in Tamil Nadu. That is the wonder of Democracy. You rule well and yet you lose.

You are too naive to believe that by removing DMK you are eliminating dynastic politics. Do you not look at the Badals, Thackerays, Sonias, Reddys etc. Moreover, by bringing Jayalalitha back to power, you are only allowing the Mannargudi gang led by Sasikala to rule by proxy.

I have very high respect for south indian. they are doer. they dont waste time like northy who are busy gossoping and blaming whole day. Remember Jaya is not gonna give u a better life.
The truth is chief minsiter cant do anything. Its all about educated people joining hand and building better inrastructure, inspiring masses to be good conusmer, creating jobs, make safe space to live a life. Jaya does not have a magic button to do anything. She will succeed to the extent all MLA, IAS, Business leaders and masses support her.
This is major reason why UP and Bihar is so backward. there people think that its govt duty to give them job and better life. can u imagine few hundred lezy and currupt govt employee suppose to make better life for millions of jombie. keep dreaming.

Your reading about majority Tamils is blur. They are so lazy that only women folk only toil to run the family. The male scoundrels will only spend time playing cards, eve teasing of school going girls, gossiping sitting before tea stall and indulge in hen fights and late in evening visit Wine Shop and night return beat his wife and children and late night force his wife to his beastly submission. This is TN male.
For your information, the SC population is the maximum in TN of all states in India. So definitely you cannot expect productivity except increase in population from them since everything is given free to these scoundrels.

Actually the main problem in UP and BIhar is that they are overpopulated and the population is mostly illiterate and poverty stricken.

And most importantly North Indians think women should not be educated as then men will lose control over them. Of course now the trend is changing.
