Mamta deserves all praise for the change. How much she comes to the expectations of the people is a big question.She appears to be clean lady but with mercurian temparament also lacks vision.

a person is known by the company she keeps...and the lesser said about her opportunistic cronies, the better. she may be honest, but a large majority of her party MLA's are not. she will suffer due to them.

Partha.Chaterjee has been one of the most educated candidate in TMC.(he has been the GM -PR of a reputed company).Satabdi was not a candidate in this asembly election.Sudip was also not a canditae in Assembly election(they have been MP).Subrata Mukherjee has been termed as the best mayor Kolkata corporation ever got.

lots of corrupted people in both the parties.
so there no point in arguing
only thing we, as the resident of bengal should look after few issus: like electricity in every household (which is still not available in few rural places), education, health, basic infrastructure ....
so instead of supporting any particular party, we should rather look into our own interest

@sujit: i never heard of these corruption figures before, so i can't comment. but, i do know of 1.76 lakh crores corruption done by A.Raja of UPA which is supported by TMC.

Exactrtly..there are lot of corrupted people in all political parties..but there are no corrupted people like sarla Maheswari..who has a corruotion of Rs 300 crores against her name..(in a state like West Begal)..there is no corrupted leader like Gautam Dev who has a corruption of Rs 314 Crores in HIDCO. I have never seen Sumit speaking about these corrupt people whe he speaks about Corruotion.

they new how to vote but becoz of rigging the result was not visible. The rigging like in bihar was less and hence the victory
Only due to their audacity, misbehaviour to the general public by calling them to the local party office and beating / threatening them in front of their neighbours, looting of money from the panchayat, district fund, in the name of land-reforms, there is so many undue advantages from the vendors, bus owners, different type of auto/ four wheelers, tolla from different vendors, mid-day meals etc.etc. so many types of corruption even the audacity of CM's view that "AMRA 235 ORA SUDHU 30" such type of version. Bengalis are very intelligent, they have forgot it in 34 years. Even in 2006, they have commented in 100 years nobody is to defeat them in any election. I also thanks to Election Commission regarding their strong activities to conduct the Assembly Election. Thanks to all.
