He is a well accepted politician, but...
by Discusion Forum on May 14, 2011 09:50 AM

It seems that the writter is a Left supporter. It is a fact that VS is a well accepted politician in Kerala. He has done many thing for poor/underprevilaged sections in the State. When a person become CM of a State, he should be able to make an overall development considering all sections. To do everything for BPL caterogy of people in a State is not appropriate for a Govt. Majority of the Ezhava community comes under middle class and Left party could not do as much as it could have been done for middle class. If a family has an income of Rs. 4000/- or so in a month,
then that family comes under APL and how they can meet both ends at this inflationery period. Just before declaring the election, Govt. tried to implement some schemes for middle class viz rice at Rs.2/- per KG,etc. but which did not workout. Progress in the industrial and employment sectors were also not visible. The Smartcity project did not work out citing simple technicalities.
Now it is the turn of UDF. wait and see....

If Prakash Karat, Vrinda Karat, Seetaram Yechury and D Raja is thrown out of Communist party then it will become good. They are good for nothing.

Tallest & Strongest
by joygreenpark on May 14, 2011 06:37 AM

Of Course - He is the tallest, strongest & Senior Most Communist of India with Popular Support. But what does it matter!!! He is not even a member of CPMs Most Powerful body, the 'Polit Beauro'.
It is true that without VS, Kerala also would have been thrown to 'Arabian Sea' for the CPM

Naveen Chavla effect worked in Paravoor, Piravam, Thrithala, Azheekode, Kottayam and many more places.. All the above places LDF was leading till the last round and everythin went up and down since then. Its the time to take necessary action against this electonic voting else UPA will continue in power in 2014 too and they wont come down for centuries!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apart from thanking retired chawla and his still working pals in EC.

People want alternate other than bjp- congress during anti-incumbent drive. And there was none other than congress led hell.
The congress sSuckedd all small parties in kerala. Same situation in Assam. In bengal as well, congress sSuckedd in TMC to it's side to downsize it over long run. IT IS CALLED THE KICKBACK MONEY POWER.

And you can see during anti-incumbency, where option is given to choose not congress and not BJP, it is TN and win of AIADMK.
AIADMK also had people watching over the EVMs.

Amul has turned into sour cream
by Purine on May 14, 2011 12:56 AM  | Hide replies

Technically UDF would've won.. But Amul Baby got the best sound spanking of his life.. by people of Kerala and Tamil Nad.

VS won, VS' party got the highest number of seats among political parties, and LDF came very close to the heels even with Amul's dig at Achuthanandan's age..

and the oldie that Amul campaigned for in Tamil Nad has chosen to go to bed rest..

and the Jagan factor in AP.. Amul effect didn't work.

hahaha.. Amul can turn huimself into a butterball.

a call to the divided Kerala Hindus.. take your arss up and go VOTE atleast in the coming elections. Look at Mus.. they voted all the IUML criminals to power.

Interesting Scenario
by ajj35@rediffmail.com on May 14, 2011 12:35 AM

If UDF comes to power it has to concede much to fringe players like IUML,Kerala Congress and other players. This will mean dismissal of many corruption cases against allies as well as criminal cases. What it means is new issues for opposition right from day one.Who would like to become Kerala's chief minister is to be seen. Because if its from UDF then he has a sword of damocles over his head.

Time to Instrospect Core Committee Hypocrism of Desi Communism
by Volga Volga on May 14, 2011 12:34 AM  | Hide replies

Communists and particularly core commitee with full of dependency parasites, not capable
of winning a zptc seat, who lost their principles and ism through extortionism and who are trapped successfully in consultancy
"catbury chocolates" thrown by capitalism Gods. Time to Introspect and get back to your
books with mind rather than mugging up to get or hang onto power through any means including mean and vile on innocent and ignorants.

Introspect the network seeded by hypocrite Jyoti Basu during two decades who got his
english education to sudue Bengalis with no primary education in english itself.

Why the network partially dimantled by Prakash Karat and Buddadev Bhattacharya worked against their party itself including Somnath Chatterjee?.

Introspect why people are deprived in getting awareness through education to generate wealth though baits of distributing lands to poor brought name and fame?.

Why Indian Communism who copied Marxism from western countries could not entertain internal democracy which Stalin too did and went into history for good?. That too, inspite of Indian Communists openly proclaiming they support parliamentary form of democracy?.

How long Core Committee wolves survive on Gandhian and Nehruvian wolve dress on name of
Communism on illiterates and ignorants of Bengalis who trusted you for decades?.

Lenin and Stalin , stalwarts and mavericks of Marxcism and Communism glory too respected
rationalism and importance of education to understand high five communism principles couldn't inspire slavery stricken desi communists inspite of adequate forewarnings to communism roots in India from last couple of years?.

Entire world knows Stalin bit the dust just because of dread and terror tactics he used to implement his principles rather than raising awareness among citizens through education which backfired communism in Russia couldn't inspire the slavery stricken core commitee of indian communism?.

Wake up before Tripura too kicks you slaves and donkeys...You don't have Nehru in Central
Government to protect you blindly though Pranab Mukerjee may patronize in guise for a fleeting period.

mystery: what was NAVIN-CHAWLA doing in KERALA??
by kxvkxvxkk on May 13, 2011 11:58 PM  | Hide replies

he is retired from indiaz election commission.

but anywayz, bcoz of:
1. navinz INTRICATE KNOWLEDGE of the remote controlling of the EVMs,
2. navinz past experience in reversing the voting results, in last lok sabha elections,
3. navinz past illegal workings with some officials who MAN the EVMs,
4. navinz success in winning last lok sabha elections for s0nia,

so s0nia asked him to RIG some EVMs there.

typically, navin only has to reverse the TOTALS of votes, in only about 10% of the EVMs, enough to trigger a WIN FOR CONG.

really bad day for india.

worse days are ahead for millions of indians,
starving under grinding poverty.

THIS ELECTION
by subhas chand on May 13, 2011 11:41 PM

We need to evaluate politicians not in the performance in an election but in the performance while in power. Bhadrakumar's critique is apt and realistic. We need people like Bhadrakumar and B.Ekbal (who just now lost in Changanassery)to add intellectual and rational strength to the Party; not that it is weak now, but any party can do with more strength. There are already stalwarts like MA Baby and Thomas Isaac.
