Real waste

Cannot locate a missing chopper with all the facilities pressed to service? ISRO is real waste. Cannot successfully launch a GSLV with russian cryogenic engine, and now cannot even find the chopper with all its satellites

the issue is if there is crash the beacons also may not help let alone delicate GPS. The dense jungle terrain with incliment weather is another issue. In mountaineous terrain looking for satellite imagery might be difficult, especially since foliage is thick.

it is not the job of ISRO satellites to search for every wreckage of jeeps cars and helicopters. But it is their secondary use that the imagery may be used in this application too.
searching wreckage is highly difficult task, the example being the identification of wreckage of the Air france flight took almost two years...even after having all advanced tech at hand.

one should be praying for the well being of those on board and should not use the messege board to spread the ignorant propaganda.

It is exactly the job of ISRO to use their satellites to aid projects of national importance. That is why they get paid to develop technologies which otherwise have no civilian usage.

so does tracing crashed copters and vessels come under 'projects'of national imporatance? come on, you can use the images of ISRO for aiding search, not to make ISRO do the search.

Hah, that is why i told not to spread ignorance in public...the remotesensing and the telecommunication satellites of ISRO are used for telecommunication, TV, remotesensing, weather, cartography etc...Hardly there are any satellites without civilian use except the chandrayaan and TES.

one should educate themselves before taking the sword againt government organizations.

It is intentional to get rid of a person. Maybe he had some confidential info and the UPA got rid of him

The helicopter was shooted down by chinese missile?
by Debasish Sarkar on May 01, 2011 07:28 PM

Most probably the Copter was shot down by Chinese Laser Guided Missile.
There is Quite Rife, that chinese Militia have extended their own Air sPace of no fly zone over Arunachal. It menas that they can shoot down any flying object over Arunachal Sky, without giving any wawning to Indian authority. It also mean that any claim of authenticity, when arives, the Chinese will deny flatly.
Things are hotting up in NEFP of India.

Most probably the Copter was shooted down by Laser-Guided Cinese Missile. Recent rife is that Chinese have extended their own no fly zone over Arunachal Air space. But yet our Indian Administrators have no qualm in deny it.
