All India Constituency
by sachchidanand dhar on Jun 30, 2011 01:46 PM

In view of Honorable HRD minister's comment of UNELECTABLES:
I hereby propose creation of at least few All India Constituencies for MPs. Certain All India candidates should be allowed to become MPs if the secure -may be 10 Lakh votes from All Over India. People like Anna Hazare , Kiran Bedi, Kejariwal etc. are very likely to elected to such seats. This would also allow representation of SCATTERED communities like Sindhis, Sikhs , Adivasis etc.

Preventive steps on corruption
by JC Bahl on Jun 30, 2011 12:49 PM

If CBI is independent agency just like Election Commission and answerable to Jan Lokpal then the majority of the politicians will be behind the bars and the valuable national wealth will be saved from their nefarious activities.

PRESS BRIEF
by Basant Bharati on Jun 30, 2011 12:05 PM  | Hide replies

“Lokpal needed but it's not a panacea: Dr Singh”
Dear Stupid PM, Treat Lokpal as the first major step. Start something, if you want to do some good.

'Dealing with black money not a one-shot opearation'
CAN A FIRST SHOT ATLEAST BE FIRED?
“Dismissing talk that he is a "lameduck”, he has not heard "any contrary view" from Congress. It is only a clever propaganda of the Opposition "to which some sections of the media had lent ear," “It is all written on the wall. Congress enjoys your inaction as an advantage hence does not complain. It need not propagated and lent ears. Common can see it clearly. Rediff viewer comments on Rediff postings on you, is the biggest proof.

“He met Sonia Gandhi one-on-one every week. He had never felt that she was an obstacle”
HE IS TAKING INSTRUCTIONS. HE IS NOT AN OBSTACLE TO HER ULTERIOR MOTIVES.

“Sonia Gandhi had done a "superb job" as Congress president for nearly 15 years now”
HE ASSERTS THAT HE IS A PERFECT CHAMCHA

CINTINUED

“Reshuffle of his Cabinet was a "work in progress". Asked if it could take place soon, Dr Singh replied, "I cannot predict." PROVES THAT HE IS NOT THE ULTIMATE DECISION MAKER.

I will be very happy to step down, ASSERTS THE JOB OF CHAIR WARMING GIVEN TO HIM

“He has no hesitation in bringing himself under Lokpal. However, many of his colleagues were of the view that it would create "an element of instability. HE IS FORCED TO KEEP PM OFF LOKPAL JUST TO PROTECT FUTURE PMs FROM GANDHI FAMILY.

“He would try to find a way on the Lokpal issue and work for a national consensus. GANDHI FAMILY WILL NOT ALLOW HIM.

“Growing perception in the media that the government was under a siege. He then went on to hit out at the role of the media for having become "accuser, prosecutor and the judge" ON THE CONTRARY, IT IS TRUE THAT THE GOVT IS UNDER SIEGE OF MAFIA AND THE MEDIA IS BOUGHT OUT & PUTTING UP AN ACT.

A Peon's Body language
by Peethambaran A.K. on Jun 30, 2011 10:31 AM

The writer visited a Ghaziabad office of Health
Ministry last week to seek some information. The
ever present peon (whose salary now is around
20,000/- PM) spotted me and followed me upto my
vehicle while returning to Delhi and after I
took
the seat, he positioned himself just outside
my seat and all the while giving out body
language that he expects some cash from me. This was only a exploratory visit. What would
happen when I visit again with some papers for
some permission/approval. If he handles the file
to take it from one official to another, will it be safe. I wonder how to tackle the peon?
Can any one enlighten me? I want my work to be
done without extra cost.

when the message has to go to wrong doers and to people at large that we are doing what has to be done than it must be seen. some times a relatively innocent may have to suffer but a whole nation can not be allowed at the mercy of some unscrupulous people.serious illness requires strong medicine and has side effects too.yes.what is happening in up?if this is democracy than , if a refrandum is taken people will say 'we do not want democracy'why can nor centre call and question bahen mayavati?

PM is still a Honest Man
by sam raj on Jun 30, 2011 04:50 AM  | Hide replies

Indian media is full of negativity. It is a tough Job for the PM to convert such negativity into positive else such corrupted thoughts will impact the growth rate which India needs...

Too much of postmortem has to be avoided, we should focus on prevention which is always better than cure and move forward
