humanity

We read so many revealing articles of violence involving females of various age groups. It is just another appalling and gruesome type of revelation.
Every time I read these types of news I lower the level of barometer to measure the humanity left in this world particularly in India

Our great culture
by Sanjiv Acharya on Jun 24, 2011 05:09 PM

Indians always like to scoff at western culture and claim how ours is so superior due to family values. Actually our culture is all motivated by money. People will take care of elderly because they have an ulterior motive such as inheritence, people want boys because there is an ulterior motive because they bring dowry. Western culture in spite of it's flaws is very generous and philanthropic and values family as well without it no western country would have produced so many talented scientist, artists and great thinkers.

Big shame. non-human act.
Couples don't feel comfortable with baby girls because of anti women environment in India.

Munde's constituency
by manali thomas on Jun 24, 2011 04:53 PM  | Hide replies

Munde never goes to his constituency. He is sure of his victory, as he has done many good things for Parli. Even if he puts one long pole and requests to vote for it, people will do it. Like Pawar has Baramati, he is undisputed leader of that place.

His visits are to other places where BJP has less representation.

Please do not find political bias in everything. This is a horrendous news. As Indians, we must be ashamed of the rising female foeticides in India.

So, what's the use of mentioning Gopinath Munde's name.
Why can't it be written as
'In a small town of Maharashtra state in India which is headed by Dr. MMS as PM and Mrs. Pratibha Patil as President."
