In India, Trust will pay that amount to concerned other side party. Instead of paying interest to government exchequer, some percentage will be deducted by Trust.
Option2: Amount might have been diverted for political blessings or patronage aftermath of Sai death. If this is true, Having Justice Bhagwati, Senior SC Judges and IT officials in counting the money is fake and constructed.
These activities would have managed police as IPS , politicians and bureaucrats have connections. May be police or politicians didn't recieve their regular hafta.
Option3: Drivers were caught in bus travelling from Puttaparthy to Bangalore. Police went , stopped the bus and arrested the drivers or managed person. The version is same as Hyderabad and Gujurat police encounters.

Baba might have kept huge amount of cash, may be to meet some major expenses. He has not given that money to any of his relatives who are living in puttaparthi below poverty line.

Whether trustee are looting or not but this amount of cash will raise eye-brow certainly; If its perfectly legal why not in bank or in bond or in DD form.

The wealth does not belong to Pope or any other head of the Catholic Church, but it belongs to the Confraternity of Catholic Church, and Holy See, Vatican. Pope or any other Catholic heads has no personal account in banks, but only in the name of Catholic Church a/c, which would provide help to the needy and the church.
As an ordinary person, if you make a mistake on your IT return, you will be in trouble. You wait for ages to get a refund. But as a spiritual leader you can keep any amount of money un accounted in a chamber...it happens only in India! How many crores have been diverted to personal account of trustees and caretakers?
