Religion is not an individual
by bibliosurge@rediffmail.com on Jun 20, 2011 11:29 AM  | Hide replies

All these baba's do not define our religion. Individuals might be wrong/deceptive/careless, but the religion has been there for thousands of years. Mere mortals with a life span of 100 years do not make or break it.

He did not. None can disrepute an already disreputed cult.

Shame
by nice guy on Jun 20, 2011 11:18 AM

Now where is all this Media who does not even ask a single question when BABA is alive?

How much money hes earning?
Whether proper records are maintained?
Whether IT is filed?
Where the money is kept?

But now, evryone seems to be interested in huge sum of money. Everyone wants their share now.
Now we cant believe anyone, including the govt.
This will go into the hands of greedy, corrupt and the fraud.
Are you watching Ramdev and Hazare?

Lessons for Present & Future Ammas / Babas
by Argumentative Indian on Jun 20, 2011 11:10 AM

In his death & aftermath, Satya Sai Baba, has left lessons for present & future Babas:

1) You are mortal - you WILL die
2) Your followers are people, they MAY make mistakes, innocent mistakes & at time crimes.
3) You WILL be held up to media scrutiny, even when you are NO MORE.

So, its good for an Amma / Baba to establish management systems & procedures in their trusts, DURING their lifetimes to ensure TRANSPARENCY, CHECKS & BALANCES and LEGAL EXPERTISE TO PREVENT OTHERS LIKE THE GOVERNMENT FROM TAKING OVER THE TRUSTS' MONEY. Completely avoid laziness in money matters themselves.

I was never a great believer in Satya Sai nor knew much about him, except that he did great, outstanding work, for the poor at this Hospital and always hoped for more power to him. I suspect, what may have happened in all this material hoarding i.e. Gold, Silver, Cash etc., is that it MAY be sheer laziness to push the materials into the respective trust accounts. Plain procrastination. Its just material goods, the trust anyway has money, OK, so we'll take care of this tomorrow. In the meantime, where do we keep this stuff? Just dump it into my room.

Else there is no logic why anyone would keep this in their room / house. This stuff is for godowns / lockers not houses. People keep food water, reading material, articles of personal use in their house, not commodities.

why are we obsessed with sai baba money.
by bihari babu on Jun 20, 2011 11:02 AM

Truth is people trusted sai baba and donated so much of their hard earned money. and sai baba used the money to do so much work for people. whats wrong in it. Ramdeo, shri shri, amma. all are doing same thing. they are raj yogi. i like it.
they are inspiring people to be wealthy from outside in world. and also be wealthy inside by practicing mediation etc. whats wrong in it.
krishna himself said, dont be coward. be victorious in material world as well as in spiritual world.

by yeda peda on Jun 20, 2011 11:01 AM

AND PLS BUILD ...A SUPER BULLET TRAIN ...FROM MUMBAI TO KERALA AND MUMBAII TO DELHI..
Rather than giving money to these fools and corrupts ..Goverment should take the money from trust... Goveremnt should know what is right to do..If it is intellegent it knows peple arefooling people..just get them punished..But this is India..Corrupt people take advanTage of democracy..Rich take the advantage of the poor labour ,manulas etc
