by Hari on Jun 14, 2011 06:02 PM  | Hide replies

When does the court will give its judgement, after 5 years. What is the use of this case in court. He has enjoyed 3 years as central minister.

This is the problem with our judiciary. The rich and powerful know how to play with it to their advantage.Everyone knows that the poor cannot get justice in India and even if they do,they would be long dead, by the time the verdict comes.
How will the judiciary give justice to the winner if Chiddu is found guilty? The judiciary also needs reforming.

A bunch of corrupted ministers who are now ruling our nation, get elected by unfair means, its a well known fact in south India.
And when they see sword over their head, they say that we are elected representatives now. So what we'll decide, will be the law! lol

Only Laughable remarks coming out from their mouth, They simply lost their credibility to lead the nation.

Time has now come for people to boot them out!

2009 Election in TN
by mahesh jayaram on Jun 14, 2011 06:01 PM

At least 2 seats were fraudulently won by Cong in TN during 2009 election.

01. Sivaganaga seat by PC
02. Virudhunagar seat by an unknown.

Actually the second one was more obvious. (Total counted was more than actually polled.). I always wonder why Vai.Ko who lost that seat didn't move to court.

Chidu was trailing Rajakannappan ( AIADMK) with huge difference. Suddenly he was declared winner within hours.

Pls file a Contempt Petition if you have the guts
by Radha on Jun 14, 2011 05:53 PM

As a respondent in teh election petition which is pending before the court, PC must file a Contempt Petition against Jaya if he really has the guts instead of just talking like a typical DMK politician (though he is part of Congress); if a contempt application is filed that will pave way to open many more issues around the fate of several hundred election petitions filed so far in our country and the way in which judiciary has been (politically) approaching these petitions. People don't believe in the so called judicial process wherein court passes judgement after lapse of several years (and in most cases after the term of the allegedly elected candidate). Nothing prevents the court from hearing these petitions on emergent basis and pass judgements within 30 days. Where there is a will there is a way. Unfortunately, we are living in a world where there is no political, social, economical or judicial will that favours the common man.
