spiritual value, and to maintain that tradition of our sovreign people SC has just thr right opinion. Now it is up to temple trust how they seriously take this responsibility to keep promoting that great sprituality and expand its mission and values.
It is not that I am saying for saying sake but read yourself Sri Aurobindo's commentary about the significance of these offferings in the pages of Gita. For reactinaries , mind it aurobindo was a modern man in every sense, agreat patriot, not a brahman by caste , if you are looking for a caste angle, neither was sage Vyas. He explains beautifully what is that universal will ( in your defined deity that you emulate), and SC verdict has taken just that position.
God was powerful enough to keep treasure safe from powerful colonialists, invaders and domestic corruption for centuries. It is safe to assume that wherever the money ends up is exactly where the deity wishes it to be. Or you's be saying deity is not powerful enough?! Deity has no need for these trinkets, it only kept it for care-taking for us, and now we're mature enough, it wishes to return to use for good use.
1 MORE KERALA TEMPLE TURMOIL...AFTER SABARIMALA-JAYAMALA EPISODE, WHICH HAS NOT YET COME TO ANY CONLCUSIOIN...THANX TO ALL THE VESTED INTERESTS OF THIS GREAT COUNTRY....!
The total value of this wealth would be about 30 billion us dollars or 150,000 crores rupees in open market considering its origin. If it is distributed to All poor of India (1 billion); each will get Rs. 1500; if only to 700 million poor Hindus, each will receive more than 2200 rupees. If it is distributed to only the followers of PADMANABHA SAWAMY, who are about 2 million around Kerala, each will get more than Rupees 750,000. If it is divided among the current office bearers and their members on record amounting to 2000; each will get Rs. 75 crores. In my opinion, this treasure belonged to BHARAT MATA and should be kept in safe and secured condition FOR MANY THOUSANDS YEARS in the National Museum, very close to the Temple and let the public watch it and learn lesson whatever way they think.

Rightly Said bro. Till a week ago nobody had sudden ideas of poverty eradication and upliftment. Let this wealth and treasures remain as it is. We have lost so much evidence of our past history to varius museums around the globe.Treasure at least this one as a national pride. Moreover, feel great about the royals who guarded this wealth without being ostentatious in their lifestyle when other Rajas were very flamboyant in wealth display.

First they should bring back all the black money kept outside the country & distribute them among all the people. If there is still the need then we should distribute faith money. Believe me, the black money is several thousand time more than this. Only by bringing the black money of congis will make the country super rich.
