Busted!
by Devin Hester on Jan 31, 2011 10:51 PM  | Hide replies

Tried gaming the system and got busted - no way these "students" actually thought they were here as students. Now that you're busted, stop crying and running to Uncle SM Krishna - just suck it up and accept the fact that you have to deal with the consequences of your actions.

The choice woud be a discreet electronic anklet or guests of the government at an immigration detention center - I think the choice is clear!

US, UK and Australian universities setup shop in India so that their PHds can do some Humanities study on junior students enrolled in their programs, besides harvesting money from rich Indians.

Rightly said the Late CM of AP Sri YSReddy is also a christian? Never before did I see the UPA Govt wake up so fast for a cause unless they have a role. AP is now in a mess. YSR's son is now a pain to UPA. He may reveal something before murder cases are booked on him. The present CM has said he protected him earlier. He is also a criminal then and thats the reason why he is put there. Whatever it is AP has gone to Dogs.Dont mind the UPA sympathisers like Ram. Congress is the englishmens gift to India. The are bent on ruining this glorious country. The Govt should ask all embassies the list of recognised Universities in their countries n also the list of students who were issued VISAS n cross check whether they hold genuine certificates to avoid such embarrassments in future. Dont know if Ram knows that todays UPA has many Indian leaders who are converted Christians like YSR who just uses Reddy to fool voters.

Check out the university's web site
by xxx yyy on Jan 31, 2011 05:56 PM

Check out the student's profile page on the university's web site. The one thing that strikes you are that most of the students are from India and most are from the same state. I cannot believe they were duped, they knew very well what they were doing and most likely they were part of the scam. How can a student in California be working in Maryland or Texas for 40 hours a week?

IT SERVES THEM RIGHT. THEY DESERVE IT
by damodaran mohan on Jan 31, 2011 05:25 PM

We can't expect all countries to be a soft state like India where punishment for crime is rarity especially for the rich and well to do.Unless there has been a case of discrimination, i think the u.s. authorities are fully justified in punitive action as they deemed fit to deal with such immigration racket. It is time Indian students and the diaspora in general understand that not just in u.s. but all over the world their actions on illegal immigration has not been all that great. Why not mend ways and earn better respectability.
