In India, Most ofthe Petrol Pump/ LPG Gas Agencies are in the hand of Polytician or their adiees. Is the only reason that these people are so strong.
If you see, the percentage of profit one get,by selling one LPG Cylined or One litre Petrol is so less thatone can not even pay the rent of place. Infrastructure costin all such cases and Operational cost including big kickbacks ....................................

IN MY AREA, CONGI MIN'S RELATIVES DO MASSIVE BUSINESS, OF ILLEGALLY REFILLING THE LPG CYLINDERS, EACH OUTLET MAKES @1,50,000 PER DAY. EACH MIN RELATIVE HAVE 7-8 OUTLETS IN JUST ONE AREA. AND THERE ARE 100'S IF NOT 1000'S OF SUCH AREAS IN MY CITY. PLUS, THEY DONT ALLOW GETTING LPG-NUMBERS TO NEW PPL. SO ALL NEW PPL HAVE TO BUY ILLEGALLY. SINCE LEGALLY LPG REFILL COSTS 350. BUT ILLEGAL REFILL COSTS 900. SO EACH REFILL THEY ARE MAKING PROFIT OF 550. AND ABOUT 300 REFILLS PER DAY PER AREA. SO U CAN IMAGINE THEIR PROFITS IN CASH. NO TAX. PURE CASH BUSINESS. AND PURE CASH PROFITS. WELCOME TO INDIA.
Even GOD may fail to find an organisation /inst. in India where there is no corruption. We already know about politicians, bureacracy, Govt servants, traders/dealers, education system. Now, we have judiciary, pvt companies, media, sports, stock markets & many others....engulfed in corruption/wrong doing. It will really be a big challenge/subject of research to find a clean organization in our country.

You forgot the Adarsh army navy and the airforce.
While evryone is at it about the Con grass, please allow me to remind you of George Fernandes and Jaya Jaitly who made money on coffins for dead Kargil soldiers.
It is disgusting to see rediff waste so much time and effort on anti-Congress propaganda. We would like more news about our leaders such as Mdm Sonia Gandhi, Dr Manmohan Singh and Mr Rahul Gandhi.

So why dont you stand outside 10 Janpath for few crumbs thrown at you OR better still keep ur gaping hole open for the Italian to take her daily dump, then you can report whether she had eaten Peork roast or Peeproni Pizza last night
it is not oil mafia in Maharashtra.but corruption exists on every inch in every Govt & Non Govt areas in India. You begin to probe or make a sting operation you will find that not a single area which does not have corruption.Govt play hard to make a govt & that's it.They are crazy and greedy for white chairs, white cars, body guard & white kurta & under this they are99% corrupt in white.Poor people does not have enough cloth to cover their body, three meals to eat & no shelter on their head.our system has cancer.what can one do??.How can we compete the other nations unless basic basic needs of every Indian are not fulfilled by our govt official. It is a big shame.
The continuation of subsidised diesel has created a mafia industry which steals it. Official estimates of the stolen diesel are 40% of the subsidy of Rs 30,000 crores, or Rs 12,000 crores. Will the Government finally stop the nonsense of differential pricing which has negative consequences? A far better, and oft suggested, way to distribute subsidies to those deserving it, is to use the technologies available, of smart cards. If so, the social ends could be met and the single, market determined price for diesel would obviate the need for theft and, by the way, of murder of officials preventing it.

all taxes and customs duties on all forms of fuel, gas/petrol/diesel/avioil should be abolished. tax only the idle wealth, [gold/jewels/farm houses, ambani-type skyscrapers], besides luxury cars and large airtconditioneres.
give the first national identity cards to the poorest people first, with provision for them to get Rs 1000 per week per card from any ATM. it will really help the needy to be saved from starvation.
save the really old and too young among the poor by offer of free soup and bread in soup kitchens opened by the FCI in towns and villages, utilizing the non-storable foodstuff getting spoiled otherwise. give 1ookg foodgrain free to every fivestar hotel on condition that they open soup-kitchens in their basements for all poor old/young coming to them every morning and evening. this is the best method for making govt help really reaching the hungry stomnachs in the country, without the grants getting squeezed out on-channel by polticians and burocrats.
Not only oil even domestic gas is sold in market to convert as commerical for autos and filling for liter all most gas repair shops will fill gas and take huge margins.
Just think of the very old temples now under the custody of someone -be a Government, or a Body. You can own a house, but how can you own a God in a temple constructed and worshipped for centuries. Entry fees, special darshan, special queue. If you go to poori temples you are stripped completely by the priests there. I was travelling towards Badrinaath. The taxi driver was making some signals at certain curves where small tents were erected and tea shops were functioning. Here he fills the diesel at a lesser cost.

I agree with you. In fact, I think that the BJP/RSS is responsible for the rise in prices of all essential goods. This brings two benefits to BJP/RSS. Their bania/brahmin supporters make a lot of money and the UPA government is discredited. No one can be as devious as the high-caste BJP/RSS.

BJP is responsible for rise in price of all goods?? sounds funny..chk histroy of all goods ..Cong is worst... ask any exporter r importer..u wil come to know which govt is better .
Re: Re: Re: And

Who benefits from the rise in prices? The answer is : banias and brahmins. That is why I blame the BJP/RSS for rise in prices.
As far as importers/exporters are concerned, they all indulge in under-invoicing and other manipulation. They have BJP/RSS mindset.
