Some great Leaders in Maharashtra are more concerned about so called mis-spelt name of "Mumbai" as Bombay by Maha. Governor today as is being showed on TV Channels today..... Things would have been very nice if along with this, they would have been more VOCAL and forthcoming in criticizing the deplorable incident....... Late Y. Sonawane was a BRAVE Officer and the whole country should pay tributes to him....... We need to salute such HONEST Officers.....
If the maharashtra govt. does not bring the rotten culprits to justice then its a absolute shame. Justice has to be severe and swift. My salutation to the departed soul and my heart swells with pride to see we have such sincere men who do their duty without fear and greed. jai hind.

I wish that those who have killed and responsible for killing the Officer, should be shot dead by some body, without wasting a minute.
This is the state of lawlessness in our country. Any one can do anything and there is no accountability. We are no different form African countries....even there its not so blatant. Shame on us that we have to see this ...its horrific and most shameful. So there cant be any honesty in our country? I guess we cant expect decenct at all after all we are ruled by a bunch of criminals. My sincere and deep condolences to Sonawane's family. I want to tell them all Indians with a conscience want to apologize for what happened.
I am an Indian Muslim and I want to say to all my fellow Indians that we all should join hands and get rid of this.
The statements of the Govt are very hollow. Incidents such as this are not new, it wil be an eye opener for all if details of the present status of all such past cases are publicised. It will be no deterrent to anyone if the cases/investigations against the culprits go on for ever and people forget about it. It is reasonable to believe that these mafias cannot exist without support from powers.
Np words can concole this tragic event. Hope the truthfulness and sincerity of Yashwant Sonawane will inspire more and more of our youth to be honest in their work.
Having voiced my personal opinion, let my voice some secular thoughts. -----------
CID Diggi strongly feels that Yashwant Sonawane was burnt by the dreaded right wing organisation which has its headquarters in Nagpur. Exactly 420 seconds before the tragedy, Rashwant Sonawane had sent a sms to CID Diggi requesting for his help.He feared attack from the saffron terrorists.
This is a very sad thing to happen. Few people/ Officials are there who have their DUTY, HONESTY top in their mind (in this era of corruption and scams). We feel completely shocked.......... The Govt. of the DAY must investigate and bring to book the culprits as soon as possible so that the people of this country should have confidence that OUR DEMOCRACY is functioning smoothly and free from all ailments! We must look why things as brutal like this are happening in one of the "most progressive states" of the country? Why except BIHAR, new regions are become BIHAR?
