Terrible..
by Michael Angelo on Jan 25, 2011 08:17 PM

This is terrible. But the Government should also learn to behave in a responsible manner. A person is guilty only if there is proof. Govt. should stop harrassing people on supsicion.

What a country,a nd what governance!!
by Debashish Bhattacharyya on Jan 25, 2011 08:04 PM

The perpetrators of this heinous act should be caught and harshly dealt with; if required, by death sentence.

How can someone not be afraid of the official machinery, and commit this crime with impunity? And state machinery is used either to botch up cases or settle political scores?

We citizes need to wake up and push the government into taking urgent, affirmative action, and get these perpetrators punished with harsh sentences, so that nobody dares to repeat these acts.

Why should it happen? whts the message we are giving to other officers and future officers? wht don't Govt understand its fallout on others? Today's time there is only issue which is affecting all.. GOVERNANCE.. If there is no effectivness and only helplessness around in Govt. circles..then there is no surprise...See how much we are helpless in bringing BLACK MONEY back to country?

Facts in Maharashtra
1) Maharashtra is projected to be civilized state. But politicians have divided it in to segments on the basis of caste & religion & came in rule.
2)There is specific class in the society which is not scared of law & order. This class is capable of taking stone in hands & crush social harmony.
3)These kinds of incidences have been happening with common men but now with class 1 officer ? ........

this is too much

Mafia Menace
by Ruth Joseph on Jan 25, 2011 07:25 PM

The petrol Mafia in Maharashtra is run by many members of different political parties - RTI - Petrol pumps are owned by Politicians - Their Relatives - Close Friends - They are the ones responsible for the fuel situation - In Maharashtra the lobby is controlled by a majority of people from Maharashtra and not by people from the North. The politicians are also the ones who control the police so all in all the politicians from Nasik are responsible for this IAS officers death. The police force must rise above the clutches of the politicians and ensure justice is done for their fellow colleague.
