What democracy are you talking about. Everyday new scams are being unearthed. I the name of democracy all our leaders be it from any party are looting us. There is crime everywhere. Every second day there is bomb blast or any other terrorist activity.Our infrastucture is nothing. Infaltion is going out of control.
In short in this democracy nothing is going right. Actually it is turning out to be a blunder and a curse.

Rediff, have pointed out this before.. leave this comparisons for moment. task at hand is to make India look presentable. for this you have to focus on any new developments that improve metros..making it look better etc. create a momentum by focusing on improvements in metro, lifestyle, architecture, neighbourhoods, slum redevelopment, govt initiatives, good road design and traffic streamlining
If India don't grow in future with more then 10 percent GDP mor then China then very soon all Asia and India will become in control of china and his ally pakistan. China is already a superpower and 2nd largest Economy in the world.China army is capable to destroy any spy satellites in sky,china has fastest train in the world. India is a very small fry in front of him. Most powerful country in the world USA is also under 1 trillion debt of China.
India would and should become strong internally. Unless our systems of governance are not coherent, no country would respect you. Let us better behave even if it means of being used by USA. We would have an independent role to play in international politics.
I like to have Chinese fried rice, Paneer/chicken chilli and other chinese food....I know China may not be favourable to India but I hope that u guys don't call me a traitor since I eat chinese food...Thanks..
The respected Prof. has touched upon what is good for Chinese and what for west, but left out what is good for India...rather than the Chinese perspective of what is good for India.
Thousands years ago rishi muni said to be strong and succeed you have to do aatma shodha means research on self also called self knowledge. simple word it means self awarness. whats your striegnth whats your weakness. China is very lucky, they have been practicing budhism that has making them strong. in india its sad story. we became lezziest people on earth. on the land of teacher like krishna who said to karmyogi. be in action, not in lethargy. its secret. both indian and chinees would rise to the extent they realise this mantra. china is already ahead we really need to do regular contemplation. both china and india has to live together as neighbour. china is extreemly aggresive, would like to make india's rise as difficult as possible. our job is not to let that happen.

Mr. Manoj, U r frank in thinking so. Keep in mind, they are the crook,cowards in the world, anywhere in the worldd they migrated. But their system of exploring the system as it is working wonders for them. The slave mind make them workaholics whereever they remain in China. ther in china, all have to work, except the bosses in the Ruling Party. Here in India, we all want to incriminate and discriminate among us. This make our system collapse. If our mindset is changed to treat all in equality, we I mean India will prosper rather rule the whole world. But we cannot think in terms of black/white/bahman/dalit or chor chamar and so..so. this is applicable wherever we peep in to, whether Dharm or caste/creed. Till that day all indian skins are slaves anywhere in the world and within Great Hind too.
