There must be some reason why this lady teacher resorted to killing an MLA in the open. The MLA must have cheated/raped/deceived (or all) her & trying to awade/escape because he is powerful & was confident that no one can do anything. It is sad for Nitish's Govt that asuch an incident should comeup when he is trying to introduce all kinds of reforms, in true sense. The Govt & Police must investigate the case thoroughly & ABOVE ALL, WHENEVER ANYONE RAISES A FINGER AT ANY OF THE MPs OR MLAs IN INDIA, THE FIRST THING IS THAT THEY MUST BE STRIPPED OF THEIR POWER, EACH & EVERY MOVEMENT RECORDED, AND THOROUGH INVESTIGATION ORDERED. I will not be surprised, if many of such deprived Indian citizens resort to such justice because they know that its better to kill & die than die all alone. Not a bad philosophy any way. Rupam Pathak, the school teacher who stabbed Bihar's BJP MLA Raj Kishore Keshari to death in Purnia, seems to have been pushed to wall compelling her to react so violently that no Indian woman would ever dare to do. The killing appears to be a revenge killing by a helpless woman whose frantic appeals for justice seems to have fallen on deaf ears. The Bihar Police appears to have connived with the ruling party MLA as happens in most parts of the country. The disadvantaged lady appears to have had no other alternative other than taking law into her own hand after even her own husband was frightened to shut up. That she was badly beaten up by the member of legislative assembly's security guards and supporters after the stabbing incident rendering her in a critical condition shows which way the wind has been blowing. The fear psychosis among her relatives and the Police authorities’ delay tactics to record her statement [dying declaration perhaps] point to the vicious octopus- like clout the BJP MLA has had in the locality. One can imagine the helplessness of an apolitical woman under such circumstances in a real-life-imitating-art situation. Now people may cast aspersions on her chastity and womanhood as in any other stereotype situation. So true. It is sad that the CM and BJP's Thakur spoke about investigating the stabbing case and bringing the gulty to justice. Who is the real guilty person here? Why don't they investigate the rape case instead. We hoped that the JDU and BJP would be better alternatives to the INC and RJD. Guess not.

Women who are the victims of rape should take the law in their own hand. This is the only way to intil fear in the minds of rapists and criminals. Rather than kill themselves via suicide, the women should kill the rapists. They would be doing a great service to justice as well as other women in the country.
