Libya

Gaddafi was born to a Bedouin family near Sirt, also known as Sirte and Surt. As a teenager, Gaddafi was an admirer of Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser and his Arab socialist and nationalist ideology. Gaddafi took part in anti-Israel demonstrations during the 1956 Suez Crisis.

An early conspirator, he began his first plan to overthrow the monarchy while in military college. He received further military training in the Hellenic Military Academy in Athens, Greece[7][8] and in the United Kingdom.Pulling his leg are the same axis of powers that helped him to gain pour.To say about the Libyan people, they are quite friendly to Indians in better times.Hyundai has abbandoned the factory, The topstaff is safe in Korea. Bangladeshis , more then 40.000 are trapped, sleeping in abandaned factories. This mission Libya needs helps for Indians, Bangladeshis and Pakistani workers in a united form. One can stay toremain neutral but still can help a fellow Libyan trapped in cross irrespective of case. Don't forget India people are looking to actions from India aswell. This is Indias ''backyard''or more specific SRK's backyard.India should aim for a win win situation.

world community should wake up now
by Sami on Feb 25, 2011 10:59 PM

The problem is there not only in Libya. But also in Iraq. gadafi says that Al quaida is behind the problem. Iraqi government also says this. Al quaida is instigating the problem. now the city of Kirkuk is in rebels hands. This shows that Alquaida gaining grounds and Osama getting more powerful.
You can understand the power of people from Egypt and tunisia. So the international human community should rise up and demand for the surrender of Osama. Just writing against him in this message board is not sufficient. Come on people wake up and start action now.

Is the one of many causes of depletion of ARAB MUSLIM POPULATION.And these Dictators do care less. These Directors and Juntas are killing their subjects to stay in power by any means.
Thank God that INDIAN MUSLIMS have shuned the path of violence cum infightings [infightings between Shia and sunni sects]. For these reason India's Muslim population is increasing and stabilized. That can not said about PAKI-Muslims.

Indian muslims are yet to become secular though.See kashmir for example..the moment they have a slight majority they want their own rule..not secular rule!!

by Sami on Feb 25, 2011 04:05 PM  | Hide replies

Earlier gadafi supporting mulles and alqaida now alqaida taking gadafi for aride.
to day Iraqi pm tells that the present protest in the country is instigated by alquaida.
This shows alquaida is gaining grounds and its power is increasing.
may be in future there may be a group of people who may chant JAI ALQUAIDA opnly.
