“Indira Sagar Polavaram project” located 42 Km upstream of S.A.C.
barrage at Dowalaliswaram was contemplated in 1943. However, due to many factors, the project has been delayed. Now, the works at site have started and about 33% of the work is completed so far and Rs. 3229.14 crores has already been spent on the project upto the end of July, 2010. This project should be completed in the shortest possible time, so that the
benefits of 960 MW of power generation is available to the people of Telangana and Rayalaseema. This would also irrigate 7.2 lakhs acres of
land and help in setting of number of new projects upstream, such as
“Inchampally Project”, “Kanthanapalli lift irrigation scheme”, “Singareddipalli HE Scheme”, “Rajiv Sagar LIS”, “Indira Sagar LIS”, etc.

Telangana money??? What are the important revenue sources in Telangana?? The T expenditure bill always exceeded the revenue.
Because Hyderabad generates 60% of state revenue and In Hyderabad there is no big shopping mall of the T people or any big revenue generating/job generating industry?

AGITATORS U HAVE T MANIA AND SEEMA ANDHRA FOBIA
by BV SUBRAHMANYAM on Feb 26, 2011 07:02 PM  | Hide replies

Simple logic is for a bigger state more jobs are required for administration. For small states man-power is required proportionately. If the AP State is divided number of Govgt. jobs will reduce. in future there wont be any fresh recruitments in Govt. Similarly private sector will move to places where skilled man-power is available. in T region skilled man-power is less. Social security is not there and there is no proper law & order. So private jobs also gone. In this scenario existing Telangana (Pvt) employees will lose their jobs. it is estimated that around 2 to 4 lakh T people will lose their jobs on creation of T sate. So what is the fate of their family members - how do they run their families. Then it will be the turn of Telanganites to go here and there for their livelihood. But be assured all political leaders in T regions will get CM, SPEAKER, OPP LEADER, MLA AND MP Posts. Common people will suffer. Everybody knows the brand value of T. So no fresh investments. Think before u act

But here the logic is Hyderabad. Hyderabad has huge private sector Jobs and real estate.

If Telanganite steal away Hyderabad. Every Telanganite with their hatredness toward Andhra Rayalaseema people are dreaming that they can buy those lands, houses and jobs from Andhra, Rayalaseema people.

by idea on Feb 26, 2011 07:02 PM

if any worst case telangana state form,it would flop like balakrishna's 'Paramveerachakra'.
Telangna state like empty spoon with good shape. It built of false facts,so it could break like balloon after formation.
