why andhra people wanted to have seperate state from Madras state in 1953, that time you guys were not fools to devide the Madras state to form as Andhra state, you guys wanted Hyderabad as you do not have any better city in Andhra region which is in beetter geographical region. when the state was formed as Andha people ware better educated under the British rule than telangan people under Nizam rule, most of the high profile jobs are occuipied by Andhra prople. Now count on how many telangana people are working in Andhra region and how many Andha people are working in Telangana? Hyderabad is developed because it's place importance not by just Andhra people. Hyderabad city was not developed till 1990. it was developed after that due to the econamy change in India. People who says here int the post telangan people are just do not know the history. Telangana people have right to protect their culture, region from few Andhra leeder who are looting the state and Hyderabad and claiming that they are developing Hyderabad. Rajgopal occuipied 200 acres of land and built lanco hills. do you call this development or looting? what he contibuted to hydrerabad? Ramalingaraju stolen people from every where and bough lands around hyderabad? is this guy developed this city., these are only 2 examples. people just think and post.

1. If telugus separated from Madras state just for a big city, they would have stayed with Madras state because Madras city was bigger than Hyderabad city in 1952. 2. Hyd state (16 districts, 5 marathi, 3 kannada and 8 telugu [telangana])was dismantled and merged with 3 different states (marathi districts with Bombay, kannada districts with Mysore and telangana with Andhra [AP]). So technically Telangana was separated from Hyderabad state just like Andhra from Madras state. 2. Are there any restrictions for Telangana people to work in other parts of AP? Many SeemaAndhra people migrated to telangana because of nizam invitation (before 1956) and Hyd is the capital of AP (after 1956). 3. If Hyd developed just because of the central govt. economical policies, why the other state capitals like Chennai didn't develop at the same speed? 4. People who loot have no boundaries. Gudesala Venkataswamy is well known for land encroachment, did he develop Hyd or any part of telangana though he is in politics for a long time. Kindly tell me one person from Telangana who developed or worked for Hyd development.

1. If you don't know you guys wanted M@dras too at that time. You fought very hard for it. In the end you could not get it. 2) Telanagan is the largest area of Nizam state. So telanagana did not get separated, others got separated from Telangana. 3. IF you don't know go and check the development of state capitals . Chennai developed lot more than Hyd. In 1947 Hyd. was 5 th largest city now it is 6th largest city. Whereas MAdras was always 4th. 5. No body worked for develppment of Hyd. Every body worked for their own development by looting lands in Hyderabad starting NTR to YSR.

I agree politicians whether they from SA or telangana did nothing for the state development. Then why you want to promote incompetent politicians by supporting the separation. The separation means duplication of political employment and hence the politicians supporting it.

Secondly it is for the self esteem of Telugus that they seperated out of Madras state. 2) Agreed 2) Restrictions: Well see the jobs that were supposed to be given to the Telanganites were taken by Andhraites. When they cannot get their share in their own region how can you expect they can grab the share in other region. 3) Self contradictory statement. 1. Like Madras, Hyd was also not rich only Nizam was. 3. Most of Govt. jobs are given based on written exam and bribes. People who depend on the bribes don't care where the bribing guy come from. Do you know personally anyone who want to do job SA but denied because (s)he from telangana? I don't know anybody who got govt. job because (s)he from SA. 4. Point 1 is about Madras vs Hyd in 1952 whereas point 4 about the development speed in 1990s. I sincerely hope you understand the difference if you read it without your regionalism spects. 5. If you keep changing the reasons for the separation, then people do get doubts about the sincerity of agitation. The SKC was appointed by Chidambaram with consent of all major political parties in AP and so now the decision should be made based on the report. Also all most states separated have to develop their own capital, which is to avoid disturbance in goveranence to the areas which didn't ask for the separation. But it is not the case with telangana and hence more resistance from other parts of AP.

Coastal, Seema and Telangana region of AP are all part of India. If you have good qualifications, you can go and work at any of these places, or somewhere else in India. India should not create new stats so that good-for-nothing people can get jobs

We have heard these Telangana sob stories (LIES) so many time before, drafted by Prof Kondandaram and spread by Telangana biddas. What T-Biddas write has been throughly exposed as 100% LIES by Sri Krishna commission who went into all data from 40 years. They have proved that Telangana as a region has developed IN ALL RESPECTS much faster than the rest of AP.
As of today, T issue has become a matter of a identity politics - nothing more. Please read the SKC report. It is free and downloadable over the web.
If backward regions in India also emulate T-example, they will create their own Kondadaram's who will manufacture grievances and ask for a separate state. That way India needs 525 states.....
Let us be practical and think in the interest of the country and not be so regionalistic...

I couldnt have said it better.. the argument of "small states = better for development" can NEVER be an AXIOM, but a case-by-case observation based on specific examples.
The division of MP, UP and Bihar was done not on the basis of HATRED or excuse that minor cultural and accent differences constituted huge cultural differences or on the accusations of economic exploitation..

Hi Luchha, what do you know the history!! telangana was not under British rule, it was under Nizam rule, every village in the region fought against Nizam to oost him. there were around 10,000 people were killed in 1947 and 1948. Andhra leaders came here and they are looting now much more than Nizam!!!
