This incident has given India enough necessity to fast track sethusamudram project..Every maritime ship will then bypass srilanka and pass through indian waters..Srilanka will become high and dry once this project is completed..it will be the time when srilakans may stray into indian waters as pirates..as they will have no economy

ships need not go around lanka to reach mumbai..they can enter bay of bengal through palk strait thereby bypassing lanka and save fuel at the same time
Srilanka instead of helping Indian creating problem for us... may be we did a mistake by not helping Prabhakaran. We should have given enough support to him to survive and create problems in Srilanka.

If India had provided logistics to Prabhakaran, SriLanka would have become part of India. But they failed to take advantage. Instead they are feeding foreigners in Kashmir, who are demanding separate state.

that is a major mistake, then only indian tamils (majority) stopped supporting LTTE
If this pretex is being given by tamil fishermen that they were using the same waters since ages and only in recent times current boders came into exsistance, then what wrong Pakistani or Indian fishermen have commited. Pakistanis would like fish in Indian waters shamelessly on pretex that their forefathers used these waters what are new International boders to stop them.
If indira gandhi had gifted an fish rich island to lanka and now they do not want Indians there, what can be done. Her father had same way gifted punjab and bengal's most fertile lands to pakistan and also half of kashmir as return gift afterwards. There also they won't allow Indian to step where their forefathers had tilled those lands, what can be done. We can only respect international waters and boders otherwise be shoot like fools.
The Indian Navy is busy showboating and grandstanding, as it engages in dramatic operations to rescue foreign ships from the Somali pirates.
Meanwhile, our poor Indian fishermen are left to the mercy of the scumbag Sri Lankan Navy and the scumbag Sri Lankan fishermen, with no protection being provided for the Indian fishermen by the Indian navvy and Coastguard.
Our Indian navy is too pre-occupied with saving foreign vessels, to even think of safeguarding the Indian fishermen.
Is our Navy such a joke, that even lowly Sri Lanka dares to mess with India ?
This is what happens when an illiterate Italian woman is allowed to seize the reins of Government of the World's largest Democracy.
