Qaddafi has been a 'Pan-Arab' nationalist...
by Babu on Feb 22, 2011 06:48 PM  | Hide replies

Qaddafi had been a 'Pan-Arab Nationalist', since his coming to power. Though he had been posing to be a revolutionary leader, his revolution or his subsequent rule never had anything that could be stated as distinctively 'Islamic', though it had attributes of 'Arab-Nationalism'.

Curiously not one single despot of 'Tunisia', 'Egypt', 'Libya', 'Algeria' seemed to have the 'Fear of one God' who is immortal and instead were fearful of US and Mortal Western Masters.

Now, I hope these fellas would have learnt the bitter lesson of the fleeting nature of this 'World' in terms of 'Wealth', 'Power' and 'Status', which the Quran had been repetitively reminding and was asking people to do 'Righteous' deeds.

If only had they heeded the warnings of 'Al-Quran', they would never had been despots in the first place and would not have faced those things that they never believed would come to pass.

Actually world has changed administratively, everyone wants democratic rights without typical fanatic approach. All Islamic nations are still following Islamic laws, not ccceptable to present world.

To the contrary all these despotic nations follow 'Western Laws' and 'Diktats' until now.

And only now 'Muslims' awakening of their rights are out to claim their rightful places, overthrowing name-sake Muslim despots.

Like any nation and its people, these people too have got the right to choose the leaders of their own choice.

Fake democracy never deliver the goods - eg. India.
by Suresh Babu on Feb 22, 2011 03:35 PM  | Hide replies

The democracy has given to India poverty, starvation, unemployment, illiteracy, infant mortality, homeless, etc; democracy is here to protect the Bourgeois & Landlords and not doing anything for the poor. The Congress leaders are looting India since 1947.
