Anti Fanatic
Manmohan is a puppet
by Anti Fanatic on Feb 21, 2011 04:47 PM  | Hide replies

I am no fan of Tantrum Thailaivi Jayalalitha but she has a valid point-""We have a prime minister, who not only has no control over his council of ministers, but also cannot step in even when he sees things going out of hand"

This is precisely the problem. Puppet PM Manmohan sees his post a job given to him by his Queen Sonia. Kiran Bedi rightly tweeted that the post of the PM is not a job but a mission to serve the country. Manmohan has failed miserably in that and keeps tom-tomming his "personal Integrity". What use is personal integrity when it is not combined with self-respect, patriotism and COMPETENCE?

Well said menda. I agree with you except the Bramana element.

JJ is an opportunist, desperate for power and the statement is politically motivated. India eventhough has a westminister style parliment, Indians are not there yet. Hence, Indian politics is complex compared to other matured democracies. Its no brainer that the coalition forces arm twisted the PM a bit, but with no doubt, PM is setting the house in order.

On Anti fanatic's question, MMS self respect and patriotism is never compromised (This is all media's bashing). On competence, we still have the best guy for the job. Each of the earlier PMs had some issues or other. Remember this!!! MMS is not weak PM, he is a wise PM. He is playing within the framework he is in. He is setting the house in order and I could see India's democracy is maturing a bit than what we were in the 70s (socialist democracy)!

Prerogative of the Prime Minister
by Saurabh Hasmukh Parikh on Feb 21, 2011 04:46 PM

Mr. Manmohan Singh, an Old Politician says that the Choice of Making A Raja as minister was that of the DMK & was not his choice & he was in the Ministry against his wishes, that he conveyed to the media. It seems that He doesnot know that according to the Constitution, It is the Prime Ministers Prerogative to have anyone in his ministry or not. If he has taken him as the minister, he should not be allowed to shook his hands saying what he said & needs to take moral responsibility for the acts of his ministers.

Saurabh Parikh, Company Secretary

Jayalalitha's comments are poilitical. She thought that after 2G issue Congress will dumb DMK and pursue and alliance with her in TN. It did not worked and also TN elections are coming, she just want to take advantage of the fishes already catched by others. Also ISRO deal is cancelled and all other allegations (2G , adarsh etcc) are being investigated in a transperant way.

She is the best bet today for Tamilnadu. She may have been corrupt but it was not for her but partymen. She has enough money and not like others who started with nothing but have crores. Could you explain how Kanimoshi got declared asset in her name. what was her job. Jayalalitha was an actress and acted in en number of films. As long as people like you support DMK the state (I mean the public at large and not the Kashagam family) will never prosper.

The raids occured only after 2.5 years gap that too unable to withstand the pressure from Opposition, Supreme Court and public. You still believe that Congress is "honest" in bringing the culprits out...?

Sonia is using Manmohan/Pranab as her watch dogs.
Can you imagine what she thinks of a common man in India?
