It happens only in TN
by Indigo Sepoy on Feb 20, 2011 03:45 AM  | Hide replies

TN is probably the only state in India that accepts anyone from other linguistic backgrounds and ethnicities to hold key posts and power in the state. This is simply because people trust anyone who can deliver or projects the ability to deliver.

MGR: Malayalee from Sri Lanka
Rajni: Marathi from Maharashtra
Jayalalitha: Kannada Background
Karunanidhi: Telugu Background
Periyar: Kannada Background
Vijaykanth: Telugu Background

So whats the big fuss. If someone can come in and deliver..why not give him the chance to lead?

After all if Sonia can do it sitting in Delhi, Why cant Tamils in TN?
Its high time Tamils give a new government a chance to rule ...a new front unlike ADMK/DMK.

Its a pity that as always Tamils will sit docile and watch as Lankan Navy fires at its fishermen. Need to give sweeping power to a new front to bring order back home.

Jayalaltha is not of Kannda background but she is Tamil. She is from a Tamil Iyengar family from Sri Rangam. Just because she was born in Banglaore does not make her a Kannadiga. He families origin is from Tamil Nadu. Any way all Iyengars like the Iyers are essentially Tamil. They are Tamil Brahmin castes. Even the ones who now state that their mother tongue is Kannada or Telugu. Karunanidhi is also a Tamil he belogs to the issa Vellalar community. That Jaylalitha is a Kannadiga and Krunanidhi has Telugu roots are fiction .Both are Tamils

The Tamils are very hard working people - just as in any part of India - Lazy people outnumber hard working people and hence the popularity of frauds like MK. NREGA of Congress party is also a form of freebie ONLY - it is a pity that in India the politicians routinely bribe the gullible masses and get elected... this is not just true for TN alone .. but all over India .. I do not know of any state in India where the electorate has rejected freebies. It is a pity.

How much they paid you to advertise the product.
There are thousands such products on the market nothing new.
Rule is simple "If it can be made,It can be copied"
There is no such thing as 100% fool proof system .

actor is supposed to act not to show skin like in Bollywood which passes for acting. In South, action is valued more than some chocolate-boy looks who do not know how to act as in bollywood.
Having said that I do not know much about Vijaykanth whether he is a good actor or not.
