We are ruled by Congress who has traditionally been pro Muslims / Pakistan since last 60-70 years barring a few years when Indira Gandhi was around
India releases this jokers from pakistan even though they are criminals and bow to presurre to please the neighbour, whereas Pak does not release Davis even though they survive on US aid and support, that shows the weakness of Indian governance

Common, we do not need to treat everyone as criminal. First of all, our own guys were involved in such huge cash being given to Rahat. The event managers were squarely responsible for this mess up. I dont support a Pakistani, but that doesnt mean you call someone criminal before even being charged. Understand, DRI has not even charged Rahat so far and he is not arrested, but only his passport retained. In fact, Indian govt is planning to extend his visa for his stay in India for more to be part of completing the investigation. Let us not assume things.

There are lots of cash dealt by many politicians in India who outrightly supported Pakistanis in the past. Hope we also catch those guys.
Rahat & Company did not steal, sell drugs or were involved in any criminal activity to earn that money. The troupe of 16 persons were lawfully admitted into India specifically for the purpose to perform shows and thats how they earned the money. Is it illegal now to take home the bread one earned to support one's family ?
The amount $ 124,000 divided by 16 members of the troupe comes to $ 7,750.00 per person which is still within limits set by law. Is there a law that 2 members of the same troupe travelling together cannot be the custodians of the entire amount earned by the troupe?
Indian artists perform in USA,and earn that amount in just one show. How does that money get into India and taxed by India.India should have a reasonable policy towards foreign artists performing in India.

If anyone goes to work in another country and earn money there. They have to pay taxes

That is double taxation. These individuals are taxed in their own country on whatever they earn abroad

so what , It may be illegal money also on which no tax would have been paid any where . Why are you supporting a person who is unable to show the legal papers . Some people can not live without millions while millions can live without food.

1. He had to declare money in excess of 10,000$. He did not.
2. He is not charged with theft. The officials are verifying the source of money.
3. Double taxation is normal if you don't have a double taxation agreement with the other country. Same like everybody else.
Pakistan is able to resist much more immense pressure from USA and continue to keep the American diplomat under arrest....and India is unable to resist pressure from Pak embassy!
Re: 2 stories of immense pressure...

Ah! Pakistan standing up to American pressure. Alas, the pakistanis don't believe that!
