Like western who are all days are in fighting with other they do not have a time for their near and dear once . So they are celebrating once in a year .

As long as people want to celebrate they will. And if it involves economics great bcos more people will be employed and more taxes will be paid. I think this goes beyond religion and culture. After all a lot of us have worked in other countries and imbibed their ethics and culture.
