Vinayak Sen deserves Nobel Prize.He may not be able to attend the prize ceremony.His wife may not be allowed to attend the ceremony.The prize is to be awarded to the empty chair.
Hehe,it reminds me of a recent nobel prize for which we Indians were so much happy and sentimental.Wah,what fundamental right,what freedom of speech,all BS !

but some solitary basement jail pls...these are Deshdrohis in the name of activists...cong or BJP who hv been ruling states and centre are not repressive or against fundamental rights... why do we need activists who fight for those who fight the nation???
Sen is to understand that freedom does not mean exciting people to revolt. This is very common with politicians-no action on them. Sen otherwise should be granted bail with proviso-not to involve in any controversey.
We Indians are having very thick skin and narrow mind. Our freedom is gifted by British. We are being looted by our politicians. People are staving still we are numb. And people who are opposing the system are being called terrorist.
The judgment of lower court has many flaws and prosecution has failed to prove the charges against the Doctor. Since his case will be heard by the High Court grant of bail should not have been denied. Judiciary at times hesitate to reject government's plea. The Doctor can knock the door off higher bench for reconsideration of his bail petition.

People like you always spread unvalidated facts. This bail plea was rejected by High court only. If we should leave Sen, because he is Doctor (He is child specialist & visits elder people in jail for their cure...How strange!!!), then we should not be behind Dr. Togadia (who is cancer specialist, can save lives).
