The reason is simple The middlemen, the traders make the money The farmer doesnt get his price, the consumer doesnt get the thing cheap. So thats where the money goes.

personally as a citizen of india --------
i)I support FDI in retail in back end infra - like cold storage chains ,Transport(dedicated freight corridor etc) --- Front end retail FDI I support FDI as investment not as ownership ,not straightaway ========== Having said that --- i)why did UPA 2 GOVT take a long time in implementing Dedicated Freight Corridor - Mumbai - delhi sector
ii)what about POWER - solar ,nuclear etc
we need those two as pre requisistes ,even if FDI comes in ? stil power is in short supply
our highways are not RFID tag tech enabled at all ?
so is it not wise to have Dedicated freight corridor up and running - To tranpsort such commodities ?

late sri Chodhary charan singhji was part of JANATA govt --- even sri Ajith singhji was part of NDF(National Democratic Front - late NTR ,biju ,etc)
so it is quiete upsetting move
also how ugly will the coalition politics get ?
is new delhi a place for DALAALS ?
will we ever see great people like lal bahadur shastriji ,,great patel ,great jaya prakash narayan etc in New delhi ?
all we see is opportunity to access a minister post and loot without shame
I was also equally ashamed when actor turned politicain sri Chiranjeevi proclaimed SOCIAL JUSTICE AND then merged himself with Congress
But with a long career in politics and having come from sri Charan singhs family ,it is even upsetting to see sri Ajith singhji saab
I have respect and do not doubt the abilities of sri Ajith singh as a politician ,but this step is quiete unforseen and does not make sense at all

RAmaji - you are giving a clean chit to Charan Singh and calling him great? Is he equal to Sashtri or Patel or Jay Prakasha? If he is so great he will not make a mistake like this. This is politics.

for your information, the australian aborgines are indegenous people and well protected under the social security schemes and payments.. you are kind of equating the socially backward people of India to the australian aborigins and american red indians.. thats a conceptual blunder and irrelevant comparison

why not introduce more bank loans (instead of corruption by politiocians)
why not set up more training facilities and give them clothes ,shoes and ties to make them compete ? ------- are u saying for politicians ,you will get free train pass salary possible corrupt money and everything else?

you are surviving because there are some rules set. if its hit and run world then those who are surviving now will never last that long. Then only the physical strength and numbers matters! so think twice before propagating such lines!

those peopl who are socially backward today are there because of thousands of years of oppression and injustice. so if you want equality go and exchange ur life conditions with a tribal family, live like them and then let your kids compete. And see at least whether the first generation can compete. Its that simple
