Our brave soldiers totally evaporated the dreams of Pak Army to have "Breakfast in Amritsar, Lunch in Delhi & Dinner in Varanasi / Lucknow." Instead Pak Army had to face stiff resistance & moved back up to Lahore in ten days.
I was the anaesthsiologist(Army doctor administering anaesthsia for surgeries during war) during Op Vijay. I have managed soldiers who have not seen drinking water for seven days and not eaten for more than days and finally received in field medical establishment. It just shows their determination not to leave till the final bearth. Hats off to them!! For those who has seen this type of life death , everything is just momentory and petty things on earth is of no vaue. When will our so called leaders take note of their sacrifice and let others live in peaceful world??

Go and see the total history of teh war. It was General Maneksha wo insisted on the continuance of the war till end. Indira Gandhi was not for final finsih.
