Imagine the following scenario!
by Jai Babu Neo on Dec 14, 2011 02:21 PM  | Hide replies

The biggest blunder was releasing all the Paki POWs without holding trials for war crimes against Bangladesh and then wresting back POK and settling the Kashmir issue once & for all!
Bangladesh would have remained indebted to us and allowed India to set up military, Navy & air force bases on their territory.

This would have allowed us to completely nip extremism in the North Eastern states and allowed Bangladesh to prosper and hence stop illegal migration into India!

Even today, all is not lost. We need to hold firm to Kashmir

And allow Pakistan to bleed herself to death on that tract of land while at the same time raising the strength of our armies to 10 million with thousands of tanks and missile carriers.

When war is waged the next time with Pakistan it should be a war to total annihilation.
No pity ethics can blur our vision in this struggle.

Absolute brutality and cold calculating behavior demanded from every single Indian

We Indians need to have the stomach to murder 100s of millions of human scum which inhabit the subcontinent in a clinical and detached manner.

Mark my words, we NATIONAL DEMOCRATS will spread this message and we will create a new INDIA where there is absolutely no space for Marxists, Pacifists, Anarchists, Laggards, procrastinators, Jihadists and minority appeasers.

The INDIAN MAN will be educated to assume his proper role as the supreme and extremely stern master of the subcontinent where the best administrators will lead the INDIAN PEOPLE.

what India should have done
by Dipak Bose on Dec 13, 2011 07:40 PM  | Hide replies

Kautilya would have done the followings:

Allow the Mukti Bahini to take over Bangladesh and punish the Pakistani army in the way they wanted.

Allow Afghanistan to take over NWFP

Allow Balochistan and Sindh to declare independence, recognized by India

Take over the POK and Northern Area.

Exchange population between India, Bangladesh and other areas of Pakistan, by which all Muslims would leave India.

India did nothing. India was defeated in Simla.

A wonderful essay indeed.
It is very very informative.

We Indians dont learn from history.
That is our biggest fault.

-----
I have a slight difference of opinion with the learned author.
Ashoka won the war and ushered in peace. It was his magnanimity or whatever it is. The defeated people- Kslinga - also shared the same code of war and ideologically were the same .

But the modern day folks right from Nehru to Manmohan Singh are afflicted with another syndrome- Gandhi syndrome.

Never see evil in your opponent.See only non-existing virtues in them.

There is also a feeling that all these worthies afflicted with Gandhi syndrome- Nehru, Vajpayee and Indira Gandhi- did all the diabolically stupid things hoping that they would be awarded the Nobel peace prize. For their personal glory, they threw aside the pride of the nation

Well Said! Totally agree with you..
Unfortunately (or perhaps deliberately by congress-leftist historians) our school history ends with independence, while we are kept away from the blunders committed by congress post independence...1947 Kashmir Fiasco, China War, 1971, Assam, Khalistan, LTTE...the list is endless..we are still reaping the thorns of these congress blunders gifted to us coz of Nehru and Progneys' self-infatuated narcissistic blunders...if only we were taught the post independence history, we would see refreshingly new Indians with a pragmatic and positive worldview (we should all learn the real politik from China - the most pragmatic country in the world thanks to Sun Tzu and we have squandered away strategic genius of Krishna & Chanakya)...

Why ONLY after 1947? what about fake independence movement of the british double agent mahatma gandhee and dirty trick of non-violence which allowed the britishers to loot trillions and trillions of dollars without getting hurt or Killed though through history handus have never non-violence as a weapon and if Lord Ram and Lord Krishna had used nonviolence to get rid of demons and demonesses, there would have been thousands and thousands of demons and demonesses around us.Remember though crooked westerners praise mahatma and novviolence 24 hours a day for the past 150 years and more, ehy have NEVER used nonviolence to solve any of the problems during the last 100 years and even during the past 2000 years! shame majority hindus have been made morrons and ennuchs and looted by british and western crooks and fake freedom fighters and agents!

Non-violence is our shame taught by congress babus, the enemy of ours along with our ms home enemies. Just war and attack against congressmen will be an assiduous test to examine it after thousands of years effectively.

A.G.,
I'm an admirer of Vajpayee. But unfortunately he didn't act when it mattered most.
Vajpayee was the PM when the Kandahar fiasco happened.
After the attack on the Parliament, when all knew that it was the handiwork of Pakistan, Vajpayee restrained the attack on Pakistan in the hope of getting a Nobel peace prize and to go down history as a great statesman.

Srilanka should also be included along with Pakisthan. Rajpakshe killed many tamil civiliens. There are calls for trial by International Courts. But nothing happend because of Congress Government involment in the killing of Tamils in Srilanka

Very Good analysis, Colonel! In my opinion, letting go the Pak army without prosecuting them for genocide and human rights violation under the international law, is a blot, the civilized India would hang its head in shame for several centuries.Every civilized nation should support Bangladesh in getting justice for the atrocities committed on its men & women. Colonel! The line in your article" The Nazis were tried for massacring the Jews, the Khmer Rouge, Saddam Hussein, Serbian militants, all faced international courts -- only the Pakistani army got away with murder, rape and loot" brought frustration and anger against the world community in general and Indian establishment in particular. Thanks for such thought provoking write up.
