You have to consider and analyse various points before going for independance from republic of india.Some of the points came in to my mind as follows,
TN be always under pressure from Lanka and Al-Queda,if TN get freedom from Republic of India.The reasons are as follows,
1.Lanka fears rebuilding of LTTE due to the existance of TN republic and TN's expansion ambitions towards south east asia. 2.Muslims backed by al-Queda OR LeT are ready to settle the old scores with LTTE due to the atrocities they faced from LTTE in Lanka during Veluppilla Prabhakaran's timeline. 3.TN republic will be always under threat from North indian dominated Indian military due to hatred on Hindi language and even they may try to nuke dravidian culture as well.
So,I think,it will be a herculian task for TN to survive in such a hostile situation as a republic without the help from neighbouring countries.
