You seem to be ill informed. The equation has changed since 1962.Any incursion into India demands heavy logistic back up and if at all they do what are their objectives? Though the rail reach is now upto Lhasa logistic backing for any viable force for during the short campaign season across the Himalayas will be a logistician's nightmare.Indian army's is among the best as regards training and competence to operate in any terrain. That is the reason why our training teams are in demanding other countries and foreign troops and officers get trained in our establishments.Corruption cases are dwelt with firmly and promptly-just go through the Army Orders published from time to time.Officers are rainedin all aspects of management from commissioning.

Corrections-there are a number of corrections in my reply. For "demand" has been wrongly typed"demanding", "trained" -"rained", "dealt"- "dwelt".

Mr Kumar I would like to inform you that you have very wrong opinion about our Indian Army because the corruption in our army is very very less percentage if we compare with civil public corruption and it can be easily eliminated time to time by our Honest officers. We have maximum honest officers and jawans(99%) in our Army and face to any challenges even china or any other nation because our soldiers motivation and training is high level and equal with super power Army. Our Army still remain disciplined and complete their assigned job within stipulated time still date because of strong Army orders (even 1800 British methods). Weapon procurement and war is depend upon our country economy as well as our politician and public interests for spend their tax.
A New York Times report on Monday that said KAPIL Sibal called executives about six weeks ago and showed themAFacebookPage that maligned ruling Congress Party chiefSoniaGandhiAnd told them it was "unacceptable".

There is a funny notion doing rounds for decades that India dismembered Pakistan.
I guess it is first Pakistan that originally dismembered India in 1947, though Pakistan was the outcome of it.
In a war no one is a winner. Pak was not a winner in 1947 partition and neither India a winner in '71-all are losers.
I am always amused at the BJP and many in this forum constantly blaming Indira Gandhi for releasing 97,000 POWs from Pakistan.
The same people blame Jawaharlal Nehru for stopping Indian Army in its tracks in 1947 from going into Mirpur and Tribal areas of Kashmir which eventually called PoK or Azad Kashmir.
None of these people at that time stood up and said that those were not wise decisions. I dont remember Vajpayee or Advani standing up in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha advising Indira Gandhi against the release of Pak POWs or asking Pandit Nehru as to why he had asked Indian Army to announce cease fire.
All these people have started saying these things afterwards after seeing the unabated rivalry even decades later. Then they realised that those things by Indira and Nehru were not too correct.
Indira was right then. Nations dont look for avenging any lost wars. They come to terms with the loss.
After partition in 1947, India didnt seek revenge on Pak; instead it came to terms with partition. Even Pak too came to terms at losing East Pakistan.
No one expected military rule to continue for so long in Pak then as it turned out later.

India intervened in the then EastPakistan only after theRefugees reached even theSouthern most parts of our country in the wake of upspeakable atrocities committed by the occupational forces on unarmed civilians. Even now there is aBangladeshiColony inCalicut(Kozhikode).
India as it is today did not exist prior to 1947 nor was there any Pakistan. Some people wanted a country of their own for living according to the tenets of theirReligion. They got it and the rest of the land-mass called India now became a SecularDemocraticCountry.
Ironically one country created on the basis of the same sentiment(Religion) could not remain in one piece. The seems of division was sowed by none other than the lateM.A.Jinnnah when he insisted onUrdu being the NationalLanguage ofPakistan though about 56% of the population of undividedPakistan comprised ofBangalis.

From the begining it was very difficult to control from west to east pakistan. Now the leftover pakistan is fighting among themselfs. India stopped the suffering of bangladeshis at the hands of punjabis

Then Army Chief S. Padmanabhan said in 2001 that giving Haji Pir Pass back to Pakistan was a mistake as it became an easy route for infiltration. Wasn't this shortsightedness on the part of Indira Gandhi? Also Vajpayee took out rallies throughout India denouncing the Shimla accords
