I agree with you too, but you're being out of context here as maria was indeed guilty. She should have stuck with one of them only. She didn't. She was or was going to get engaged with that murderer, then why did she give in to neeraj's advances. Point is, she should have stuck to one.

regarding maria being indecisive... lets for sake of argument presume, you were a neighbor of Maria..and she gave you the advances, what are the chances you would have turned it down?
in this whole episode, i feel Emile is the dumbest. instead of moving out of this relationship, he chose to murder the person she was having a relation with. i mean..i can understand rage...but even if he did think they could get past this undetected...did he realyl want to still continue a life with maria? beats me.
