It is people like Breivik, be they violent, armed militias, anti-Muslim bloggers, writers, and speakers, or proponents of legal measures to curb the rights of Muslims in places like the United States where freedom of religion is guaranteed by the Constitution that indicate how much we need God’s Mercy - all of us.

God’s Mercy encompasses all beings, whether they acknowledge Him or not, heed His call or reject Him. In these days of Mercy in Ramadan, let us raise our hands seeking this Mercy, and an end to the hatred that is destroying and dividing us in Norway and around the world.
