Revealed: Kumaraswamy's role in Karnataka illegal mining
by Hebbar R on Aug 01, 2011 08:39 PM

The whole inquiry was done starting from 2005. If the same was say for the last 15 to 20 years, a lot more top leaders, who claim to be epitome of honest, would have been in trouble.

That may or may not be true. But the fact is that the resignation of the previous CM was swift and dignified in contrast to Yeddy crying and going out kicking and screaming. In fact the Yeddy drama is still in play

Why should Hegde recommend no action against HDK merely because he holds no public office. But when he was in office he had exerc ised a lot of pressure. Why exonerate him?

Mandook, that is the limitation of Lokayuktha. Lokayuktha can act only against government servives or politicians holding public offices. However, Current Government should be able to file case against HDK under prevention of corruption act.

rediff
by nakkra on Aug 01, 2011 07:19 PM  | Hide replies

Why rediff spending columns and columns on Karnataka... Why doing some digging in Maharashtra or UP or Rajasthan which became epicentre of corruptions under the most corrupted Man Mohan Singh government.

Mining corruption in Karnataka is started by Indira Gandi herself. why Hegde is not mentioning congress names? He is a Sonia payer... Now Hegde made his retirement money... Will fly to Switzerland and will live happily ever after.......

Shame on you congress.... Buying everyone with money...
