Justice Hegde although seems to be having a lot of integrity and honesty and has the right credentials seems to have exhibited his immaturity and timidness in handling the entire affair. Instead of taking criticism, although baseless, head-on he contemplated resignation on a mere mudslinging by a congress leader whose credentials are questionable. Everybody including Anna Hazare had to cajole and console him not to resign. As per hegde, he has taken back his resignation just bcos Anna wanted him to and if Anna tells him to leave, he will leave. What kind of judge is he? Is this the kind of commitment one exhibits towards an important mission? Does he not feel that he has an important obligation to fulfil? Is he not supposed to stick on for his country's sake? Should he not show his patriotism by sticking on? Its surpising and depressing that an eminent judge as him should let others decide.Everybody in the panel should remember that they are not doing anybody a favour by being there. Its a privilege bestowed them by the nation for the simple reason that the nation has got the faith that they will deliver. And for any good things to happen bad elements will always play mischief. These people are expected to fight these bad forces down despite all odds and ensure that a bill is tabled in the monsoon session successfully. Hegde has only exhibited his weakness and timidness by tendering his resignation and is certainly expected from a man of his stature!!!

One day I met two Hegdes in a mutton shop. They were arguing about not paying for the mutton because it did not have enough Kaleja pieces.
Finally the mutton shop had to close down because of the dispute.
