Obama is afraid of China and India Rise.
by Kumar on Apr 24, 2011 11:21 AM

June 2009 Washington Obama speech:
US President Barack Obama has exhorted his countrymen to buckle up as the Indians and Chinese are catching them fast, as Americans have now settled into mediocrity.
Our kids are falling behind when it comes to science.

Unbalanced people get provoked..

Firstly Obama's intention and point was to have cheap local solutions, rather than going out..

Secondly why so much hue and cry?

Are we worried that we do not have a Government does not have Honesty, vision, ability to run the country..

we have choosen the same j.0kers that have only agenda to sit on the chair..

We cannot feed our people.. we do not even think of having Pavements and parking...

Where are our emotions running? who drives our emotions? we..ourselves ..our own needs? or someone else's comment

How do we rise above religion, caste, regionliam, family dynastics?

How can we get freedome from one family that has ruined india in currrption and psychophancy?

These must be what get us emotional.. not what OBAMA said or what he thinks...

Nobody forces the Americans to come to India
by Narayanan Mahalingam on Apr 24, 2011 09:00 AM

If the Americans do not want Indian health care, it is their wish. Our health care system will have enough patients to survive as an industry and we are not dependent on white patients for the hospitals' surival.
The Americans are free to wait for the appointment in their hospitals and get their ailments fixed.

I fully agree.

However, this is also true that the medical facilities in India are cheap for Americans and Europeans, but they have become very expensive for common man in India. OPDs in most of the hospitals are charging between Rs 500-1500 per visit and the charges for tests or hospitalization are hitting the roof.

So, Indian healthcare industry is looting Indian common man, but it has no choice.

Govt. Hospitals in India do not charge that much. Govt. doctors are also much more experienced, skilled and competent. They do not make a fuss. The procedure is also not as cumbersome as in US where the process is timeconsuming and in US they levy exorbitant charges in comparison. In India, in Govt.Hospials we have to put up with the crowd which requires patience. But it is worth the trouble. Besides, there are some good private hospitals which are reasonable in their charges and they run almost like Govt. Hospitals.

You must know that Indian Healthcare Industry is fully setup by US in the last 10-15 years. All of their equipments, processes are American. This policy was adopted by George Bush to provide cheap healthcare services to his own people and loot Indian people.

In this process, Indian Healthcare Industry has become too expensive for Indians. But we do not have a choice, but to get looted by these thugs.

Healthcare in USA
by west on Apr 24, 2011 08:32 AM  | Hide replies

Healthcare in USA is screwed up. One normal visit to the doctor costs around $100 and the doctor prescribes atleast two tests on average. Those two tests costs another $100/- on average. The prescription medicines cost another $100/- based on the test results. Without company provided health insurance how may can afford $300/- for each trip? No wonder many countries call America a Satan because you have to work for a corporate to have basic services covered.

Not too different in India. The doctors are charging Rs 500-1500 per visit and for tests you may end up paying Rs 1000-10000.

These figures may look cheap in terms of US$, but for Indians, 80% of whom earn less than Rs 20/Day, its a nightmare to fell sick.

However, Indian politicians, Cricketers, Religious Gurus, Corporate/Industrialists and even senior bureaucrats do not trust Indian Health care system and rush to US/UK for treatment.

And Obama's comments will only help India as Americans who are not aware of low-cost facilities in India will also start exploring the same. Thanks, Obama for the free promotion

You should know by this time that most of the Yankees have their brains stuffed in their a.s.s.e.s, and every time they S.h.i.t, they loose, like Barak Obbama does, like to two mouth snake. Indians must now learn to keep the Yankees out, they are just opportunists.

Good or not, healthcare in USA is prohibitively expensive. One visit to a Gynecologist costs $200. Two such visits in a month, and ur monthly budget goes haywire.

Obama's intention was to indicate that he is making efforts to reduce healthcare costs in USA.

"Before we went on the path of you can go somewhere else to get your health care, let's work to see if we can reduce the costs of health care here in the United States of America. That's going to make a big difference," he said.

He is very positive here, and concerned about his country. If their healthcare industry does not listen to him, they will perish.

Same with India, the health care costs are shooting up very fast and if Indian people become health conscious, Apollo/Fortis/Artemis etc will be history.
