From the present day scenario, I see only Narendra Modi as a man with Iron hand. He is capable of leading India to a new era. Rest of all are not capable enough.

China is better. They are the world's number 1 economy. Indian's had better freedom than communist China, but they did not grow.

For your information,PtNehru's Gov ernment which took over India on 15th Aug 1947,even refused to rec ognise Israel as an Independent and Sovereign Country.
Let us get this nation ruled by non-corrupt lokpal duly elected by common man. He should never have been a politician. Should be courageous. Should be unmarried and should have been. He should not have wants and desires. Pl find out.
If the system fails to curb the corruption in public life, it is not far away that a comon man will have to pay bribe to walk on footpath. Today a comon man has to pay bribe to the authorities for any work he gets from them whic is his legitimate right. When he questions them their reply is politicians and bureaucrats are making in crores then what is wrong if we makes little. If he does not pay bribe, he will face harassment only.
Time has come to people to think and act against corruption.
Corruption always starts from the top and irrigates everything upto the bottom....You will find societies where everyone from top to bottom of the political-bureaucrat combine is corrupt (Eg:India) or societies where only the top is corrupt.
You will NEVER find any society where only the bottom part of the political-bureaucrat combine is corrupt, while the top is honest...
What the Jan Lok pal will do is to focus at the top part of CORRUPTION PYRAMID, which is smaller in size but gives the maximum impact.
Only if 100 of the top corrupt politicos and bureaucrats are caught, dismissed from their jobs, jailed and assets confiscated, corruption at all levels will come down by 50%. The last part (confiscation of assets) is the most important, because many from the politico-bureaucrat combine are so shameless, that they are OK to get dismissed and jailed as long as they get to keep the loot.
If Lok Pal can manage to do the same for 1000 people, corruption will come down by 90%........
Mahatma (I would write Mohan Das) as I don't consider him to be a Mahatma, could for see that after Independence if the Congress party rules the country than there will be all round corruption.That is what for he advised that congress be dismantled immediately after independence. But Nehru saw that if the congress is done away with he can not fulfill his desire of family rule. He actually worked in such a manner that all patriotic Indians were side lined and nobody could fight the most corrupt and his selected few who ruled over us.Even Sardar Patel died a pathetic death seeing the going on of one man rule of Nehru.

India did not get a good leader, because of Nehru family domination. There was no leader who came from grassroot levels except PV Narasimha Rao. Vajpayee was under pressure and become old when he go power. That is bad for India.

Our Independance is not fought but sought and granted.A few fought,sacrificed but were sidelined later by some crookeds.These crooked politicians divided people,states into many zones and made them selfish.So many of us do not feel for the country.Only thought of personal gains.And the politicians exploited the situation and stashed huge money in SWISS BANK @ elsewhere.Freedom was not own it was begged and granted for looting us by the corrupt people.
