If not for the dominant DMK media, there is certainly a wave 'Against DMK Alliance & Karuna' which will obviously (though not 100%) become a AIADMK support wave. Also the alliance on ADMK side seems to be strong enough unlike the DMK alliance which is now looked upon as a gang of corrupt leads (from both congress and DMK). the manner in which CBI was used as a upper hand for negotiating seats and DMKs stunt to pull-out all added to this. Also Congress is facing crisis within its party (mainly because of Thangabalu) which will surface post election results.
I think the distance from Chenani to kanyakumari is more than 900Km.
I agree with Mr venkatesh's view that AIADMK led allaince has edge over the DMK allaince in this election.But the million dollar question is whether Madam jayalalitha will provide an efficient corruption free administartion and better governance (which TN public are deprived for a long period). Past experience with her doesnot indicate good. Madam should follow the principle of K.Kamaraj in whose period as CM the state witnessed a Golden rule.

Having realised all her past mistakes & with experience & wisdom , we can definitely hope for able corruption free government .she has no such a big family( as stalin says), so necessary to do anything wrong.we are living on hopes only.

Karuna and Acharya were arrested only in the second stint; Karuna did it first to Jaya and Jaya attempted tit for tat (although couldnt find scope as much as Karuna could!). Acharya's arrest was for murder which none can contradict.

radha - how old are you, kid? your intellect is laughable, the least. you are saying Jaya couldn't hold Karuna in Jail because he didn't indulge in corrupt means but no one has doubt that Acharya involved in Murder case without doubt?
Jaya is shorttempered-immatured -egoistic- uncontactable -uncommunicable and et all. She can not make a good Chief minister and the people of Tamilnadu have given her two chances and she proved to be undeserving.

the Choice for TamilNadu people is actually between the Devil and Deepsea. Administration wise there is absolutely no problem with Karunanidhi and DMK. The schemes like assistance for converting hut into concrete houses and tuition fee waiver in Engineering colleges for the first Graduate aspirant from non-graduate family are novel and most commendable and not even thought of any other state in India. If anyone brands these schemes as freebies he is most foolish Idiot. But the only problem with DMK is his family members like Maran and his brother benefit because Karunanidhi is in power. Similarly Jayalalitha is also under the control of Sasikala's family who are just goondas. Thatwhy people are confused.
