1. There is no word for religion in Bhagavad Gita. 2. Gautama Buddha has preached what he self-realized, but he never wanted a different religion. 3. Jesus Christ doesn't belong to any religion, he is very much yogi in Hindu religion and yet son of god for christian. 4. Two years before leaving his body (Mahasamidhi), Shridi Saibaba cried over his devotees to tell him whether he was Hindu or Muslim. 5. Ramakrishna Paramahansa declared - hindus call it Jal, while muslims call it Pani.
What separates the rest of us from Shridi Saibaba,Jesus,Ramakrishna,GuruNanak,Buddha and great teachers of world is ignorance (aGynan), and so we see difference in religions, difference in religious theories, differences in spirtuality and all..

Yes, Totally Agree. Hinduism is way of life and not a religion. It is totally misunderstood even by Hindus. That is why India was a great destination for any religion before 1800s. Lots of minority people migrated from other regions during those times to practice their religion freely in India.
It is a standard Western attitude to arrogate all of the positive developments in the world to itself and attribute every negative aspect of humanity to others. If you Google ”the Hindu thing to do” you will get 1100 results. A similar search on ”the Christian thing to do” will yield 570,000 results. Hindus should take pride in their achievements and also take ownership of their contributions to humanity. If everything Hindu is termed ”universal” and other contributions of other religions/cultures are attributed to them alone, where will the Hindu stand? Nowhere… wake up Hindus, before you and your contributions are erased completely…

Hindu myself. Think whatever of me, but what I want is not someone saying this is because of Hindus. What I want is priests of all castes and of all genders in all temples from Kasi temple to Ayyappa temple to Tirupathi.

What if we say "OWN" , really go through Avesta and Gatha's which are equivalent of Vedas in Iran during Zoroastrian times , they say "ON" not OM
Yoga, Meditation, et al dont belong to hzcinduism.
The only things that belong to hzcinduism are - caste system, dowry burning deaths, sati system, untouchability and "pollution of Ganga river".
Why blame them ?
Our own fifth columnist Jaychands are a source of nonstop hateful anti-Indian, anti-hzxindu propaganda.. no wonder, you could get more hzxcindu bashing from NDTV in a week than in USA in a lifetime.
While our own media blots out any positive contribution by hzcindu organizations to humanity and only highlights the bad parts to such an extent that the word "hzcindu" itself is tagged with.
Its no surprise that there is a conscious attempt to use the word "hzcindu" with only negative aspects of our civilization.. while usurping and appropriating all the positive elements as being distant from us.
Needless to say Yog is universal. Unlike other religions, Hinduism is a practical philosophy through which one can choose his/her own path to attend the truth - call is God if you wish. There is no restriction on choosing the path but some kind of discipline is required to tame our wild wondering mind. Yog is one such path.
Making money by teaching Yog is OK. But the problem today is few handful people are trying to derive political, cultural mileage out of it to satisfy their greed. Be it of vote bank or something else.

We all know where you are targeting Its on Swami Ramdev It would be more encouraging on your part to directly say his name, as so far no one has used the Yoga as the Platform to show national interest and wanted to change the mindset of sleeping indians to the responsible indians. He take your morning hours which we normally waste while sleeping. And inturn gives you the balanced body and mind which is free of cost. Take it or perish
